there is no reason to limit to proskit. there are many other brands.
search for "flush cutters" or "lead cutters"
there is plato and xcelite just to name a few other brands.
most important is that the blades are angled like we discussed here
or otherwise to be careful and hold them level with the board.Comment

Yep, thats what I ordered. I wasn't sure if it came with the tip so I ordered another 1.6mm tip just in case. I also ordered a long pointed conical tip as I read somewhere about using it to clear pcb holes of solder. Maybe not for mainboards but for other projects.Regards,

well you will need to replace the tip sometime in the future so you are covered already. the conical tip can use for fixing some smt components, mobile phones etc its not gonna be useful for cleaning mobo holesComment

I use the $12 ones from Radio Shack. I've seen the same problem. $15 for a pair of $5 cutters!

Are there good brands for 'run capacitors' or 'start capacitors' that are used on electric motors or heat pump compressors? ... r are the good capacitor brands for electronics (power supplies, laptops, motherboards, etc.) also the good brands for run capacitors?

there is a sticky thread with very impressive and long list of TV brands that use the same Vestel products. Is it fair to say that Panasonic, Philiphs, Telefunken and Vox are practically the same quality since same equipment is built into them?
I don't think that for example Vestel 17IPS20 is different for 40" Panasonic vs 40" Sharp or Blaupunkt.
Does this mean that the most important components (MB and PSU) are the same no matter what is written on the chasis? I know that there are very few manufacturers of displays in the world.... -
Hi, i have a problem with this tv,bios is dead,it has red standby light but wont turn on. mainboard is TP.MS3663S.PB781 and bios chip 25q64. i managed to read old bios file from 8-th attempt but when i write it to new chip it doesnt work,it wont turn on.
I found bios for same motherboard but for different tv brands like vesta or artel and the tv works but the remote doesnt respond and i cant get a remote for that brands, not does any universal remote.
Anyone has a dump for this tv??

I don't know how to find info. about their protections [ OVP (Over voltage protection) - OCP (Over Current Portection) - OPP (Over power protection) - SCP (Short Circuit Protection) - short - OTP (Over temperature Protection)], some Internet's friend told me that Delta company buids to this brands, but not lists that information if that the client request that protections... -
I use to have a way to test hard drives on old computer system but with the newer computer system this is all most impossible to do anymore

Because most of them any more want to used while you are boot up to windows operating system this not what I am looking for I am looking for is a complete running on DOS environment I have found this type of software for me works the best ( I could be wrong with this idea and if I am please correct my way of thinking please post website links for better testing software that is FREE )
