    Hi all,

sorry if this has been posted in the wrong group

Im trying to replace this thermistor<<<10D-9 >>>> implies 10ohms, 9mm
im not sure if this NTC or PTC ?

I need help identifying this thermistor from
    rs online website and
    https://uk.farnell.com/w/c/circuit-p...ost=thermistor

what will this be an ideal replacement fro RS ?

Ive been chatting with RS online but theyve been very unhelpful

Almost all search result returns as NTC for 10D-9. What is the device used for? I assume its on the mains input side of a power supply; in this case it would be NTC and used to limit inrush current.

This should be a good replacement: https://uk.farnell.com/ametherm/sl10...r9Wjd6oxzMXZLs

          Related to this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=85199
          1) Why do you think it is bad?
          2) 10D-9 is the NTC for inrush current protection. It is 10 Ohms 9mm Dia. https://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-NTC-1.../221405367958?
          3) What is board not doing?

Can not find Model/Value of Thermistor.
            by nmbb
            Machine: Autoclave.
            Brand/Model: SANYO MLS-3780
Manual: (Sorry search option not working on this PDF)

Hello guys, this autoclave running with 2 thermistors already connected TH1 and TH3(on CN1,CN2 sockets). One for the water temperture and second one for chamber temperature. But there is another emtpy socket for optional third thermistor CN2 wich is for TH2 for object temperature. I wanna add the third thermistor TH2 to CN2 socket. But i can't figure what model/brand/value i need to use. In manual document, there is no info about TH1 and TH3 model number...

Magic chef oven - thermistor ref voltage issue
            by Use2bavolvo
I am having an issue with my wall oven temperature control is ~180f out of spec. The thermistor is measuring correctly but I noticed the ref voltage appears to be off. With the thermistor wires attached it's reading ~3.4vdc with the thermistor disconnected it's around I9.8vdc. my understanding is the temp is read off the resistance from the thermistor which leads me to believe the issue is with the ref voltage.

Another observation is the temp setting and readout at lower temps is way off meaning the oven thinks room temp is 300f and bake relay doesn't engage unless temp setting...

Sony KDL-40BX450 LCD. Thermistor gets too hot 10 seconds after turning on the TV
            by Quantum IC
            Hello every one,
This TV came to me with the problem that it was totally dead.
The problem was the two MOSFETs and a fuse resistor in the power supply.
The original MOSFETs were KF7N50F and I repalced them with SLF65R700S2.
The original fuse resistor was 0.1 Ohm 1/2W. I didn't find a similar fuse resistor and I replaced it with 0.1 Ohm 5W ceramic resistor.
When I plug the TV the ST-BY LED turns on, when I press the power button on the TV, the ST-BY LED turns off and the TV doesn't turn on until the second time I press the power button is when the TV turns on,...

Thermistor exploded in two when turning on ps4 fat
            by fab13
            Hi there,

I have a fat PS4 with the fuse (5a) of the power supply which blows with each power on and there was a loud snap in the power supply and again the same problem after replacing the fuse.
I did not find a short circuit

The component that broke in two is an SCK 084 thermistor (See photo)
            and measured at 11 ohm

            So far I haven't received a thermistor.

Do you think that if I replace the thermistor and the fuse it should go away, because I have the impression that there is a strong current demand as soon as you press...

Good morning, I would appreciate help identifying resistors responsible probably for volume down / volume up buttons that I accidently knocked off while replacing fan connector. I enclose picture with location. Thank you for help in advance.
