Thanks.
Unfortunately the PC doesn't turn on with that bios. Flashed it twice to be sure and reflashed my original which did work....

I appreciate that. I did try it but it has the same symptoms as the original bios does. But the bios from post 6 worked fine by itself without the changes. Makes me wonder if the DMI of the original bios is the issue. If that is even remotely possible....

I was wondering if someone could repair this bios. I have a working bios to get the motherboard working but the hard drive is bitlocked so I want to preserve the original bios so I don't have to deal with figuring out the recovery key.

Re: Dell Precision 7750
Thanks for that info.
I did what you mentioned but still the same issue. It turns on for maybe half a second, fans spin and keyboard backlight, and then off again....

Dell Precision 7720 Computrace removal
Hello, hoping for a little help here. I have a Dell Precision 7720 with CT. The option to remove it is greyed out. I have tried multiple "clean" bios but computrace is still there even after flashing it.
Here is my original bios.
Thanks for your time....

Re: HP 850 G2 is not in committed state
I was able to enter the serial, etc and that worked great.
I ran the code for the "committed state" but the message still pops up when turning on the laptop. I was getting a message below the "committed state" message, but I unfortunately don't recall what the exact message said but it said something similar to "programming 7 of 10". But that message is gone now, so is the message about the serial #.
I was wondering if you might have ever seen that. Thanks for all your help.
