common man.. did you read about Sony firmware it can register failure account.. what the eeprom will do if the sectors space are full...it will try to shutdown then delete the last one and turn on again normal.. log in SM and clear this register.

That sounds right to me Diah, I do believe you are correct sir.

How can I log in SM and clear the register?
I don't have the remote and the owner of the TV lost it.

That called thermistor is an NTC and is wide used in SMPS as inrush current resistor.
On older designs there was a resistor from bridge rectifier to main capacitor, but since even a little value generate some power loss , they switched to NTC.
When cold have some low ohm value to limit inrush current when connected to main voltage then heat up,resistance decrease to almost 0,no voltage drop across NTC,no power loss

I replaced the thermistor with a 2.2Ω 7W ceramic resistor because I couldn't find a similar thermistor and just as a test to rule out if the thermistor was faulty.
This resistor also gets very hot in about 1 minute.
I can't figure out why, if when I take the amp reading through the thermistor or through the resistor, I don't get a high draw.

That's because a RESISTOR is not a NThermistor. the resistor never changes to 0Ω it is always 2.2Ω and the voltage drop will case heat. Remove the resistor and replace it with a NTC THERMISTOR

A thermistor will get hot. Look up temp. specs. on it. It will burn your fingers.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

But I got 600~700mA (0.6~0.7A) and if I'm not mistaken that means around 66~77W.
                  Mi line voltage is 110V.
The label on this TV says a power consumption of 158 W.
It's an LCD TV. Its backlight is by CCFL lamps.
Apologies - you are right about 110VAC - I calculated wrong.

CCFL TV will have an inverter circuit. I'd still be looking closely there for a problem.

Hello guys, this autoclave running with 2 thermistors already connected TH1 and TH3(on CN1,CN2 sockets). One for the water temperture and second one for chamber temperature. But there is another emtpy socket for optional third thermistor CN2 wich is for TH2 for object temperature. I wanna add the third thermistor TH2 to CN2 socket. But i can't figure what model/brand/value i need to use. In manual document, there is no info about TH1 and TH3 model number...

Lenovo Legion 5 high fan spin turns off after 34 seconds

                          Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...

Hello. I bought a faulty Lenovo ideapad 3, but it turns out the 3Valw buck converter burnt a hole through the board. I was able to clean it up, and remove all the shorts. I now can power the 3.3v rails from a bench power suppy while connecting the laptop to its psu, and I get the additional 5valw, 1.8v, and 1.05v, form what I can tell in the schematics, those are the only 4 voltages I should see before turning on, and they are present. When I hit the power button, the power indicator on the left side turns on (not the one on the power button), stays on for about 12 seconds, then turns off for...

                          Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

Harman/Kardon AVR 645 returning to stand-by after a few seconds.
                          by PowellSkier
A Harman/Kardon AVR 645 repair has been a hobby of mine for the past several years. My latest attempt involved the purchase of a DOA unit for part swapping and testing. The original AVR would power up then shut down after a few seconds. I completely tore down both units, found a couple of bad components and reassembled one of them. Same issue, no speakers connected. After extensive research I found a repair document from Harman/Kardon that explains the protection circuit in fantastic detail and provides specific test points for each fault (power, DC detection, overload & power) and the voltage...
