Re: stop 0X00000024
You will need an Windows XP cd in order to run the Recovery Console that has the checkdisk command. Your files are screwed up from the power loss. Borrow one from a friend if you can. -
Re: stop 0X00000024
You're required to reformat the drive and reinstall XP. NTFS is trashed!Last edited by RJARRRPCGP; 11-16-2015, 04:06 PM.ASRock B550 PG Velocita

Please check HP Hard Drive Native Mode Configuration in BIOS Setup.
1. GOTO BIOS ROM Setup by pressing F10 key on keyboard.
2. Goto Advanced Tab and select On Board Devices.
3. Change the Valeu of SATA Hard Drive Native Mode from Enable to Disable.
4. After Disable the value save and exit from BIOS Setup. and continue to boot from Windows XP CD.
Let me know if it fix.
thanks & Best Regards,

Re: stop 0X00000024
i think one already exists. its called ext2fsd tho its a project run out of sourceforge. the recent versions also support all the ext4 features/functions. really ingenious way the linux guys setup the linux extended filesystem with regards to both backward and forward compatibility.Last edited by ChaosLegionnaire; 11-17-2015, 01:49 PM.Comment

Good Afternoon fellas,
Issue:
Disc is showing as not supported when a disc is put in.
Here's what I've done, you can skip this if you just wanna know the question:
- replaced with a disc drive from a donor ps5 (honestly questionable if this is known to work)
- reflowed the disc drive connector
-reflowed the chip in question (shown on image)
- I will say this console was very dusty so it's conceivable that it got so hot that it made the chip joints cold and potentially other things on the board
Question:

by x_orange90_xI don't know if anyone here has experience with Japanese slot (pachislo) machines, but I sure hope so. I bought this machine last week in semi-working order. It would play and the reels would spin, but the stop buttons would not stop them at all. I found that the high-frequency filtering tantalum capacitor was bad on the reel stop board, along with the fuse being blown. I replaced the fuse and removed the capacitor. I haven't replaced the cap yet because I didn't have one on hand, but it's not necessary for the operation of the machine.
The issue now is the Stop buttons are intermittently... -
by AJ847.63eHi Folks,
Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?
I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.
The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't... -
by trbovanLaptop is a GL731GT with the I7-9750h and GTX1650.
Full model number is gl731gt-rb71-cb
Serial: (placeholder for when I get home)
Board model: G531GT REV. 1.5
Issue: Laptop was password protected with admin password. I extracted the Bios with the CH341A and ASprogrammer. I Initially saved the backup. I then scoured the internet for a rom to flash to the chip. I found a file and flashed it. I then read it back to verify and mistakenly over wrote my backup of the original Bios.
I assembled and tested anyway. The bios worked, I was able...-
