I've issued a hotfix for Mac EFI Toolkit that disables multiple firmware windows being open concurrently. A permanent fix is being developed.

Board numbers start with "820-", your board is an 820-00939. Check post attachments for BV and schematic (you'll need FlexBV to view). The PCH corner hotspot is a little suspicious I must admit, but I've never observed the thermal behaviour of another one.
If you cannot solve this one, I'd be interested in purchasing it. Could you upload the thermal images here?...

Fact the system boots makes it highly unlikely to be anything related to the T2 subsystem. Also, a missing serial number in the SoC ROM isn't unusual. Not every SCfg store contains the system serial.
Via email you told me you restored it in DFU mode, and it has gone back to a no entry symbol, so I'd blame something on the Intel side. Is the board number 820-00939? Have you tried different memory?

Sorry, I don't quite understand the question amigo. Please try and be more specific....

I've made a temporary patch for this as I've got to release 2.0.4. I'd still be happy to take the firmware for debugging when if you can. The application will now accept Apple Silicon SoC firmware; however for now you cannot do much with it....

That's a bug in the software. Could you PM me the firmware so I can debug?...

This is a thread about Mac EFI Toolkit, The Tiva E SMC is not supported. Turn your bloody caps off, the whole forum can hear you.

Hi, nothing changed for the T2 SocROM code from v202 > v203 (https://github.com/MuertoGB/MacEfiToolkit/commit/93a81c50b2e4fda67d0906ab6f6603d44f38a65d). M1 devices are not supported, only Intel based T2 SoCROM.
If you like, you could pass me the firmware so I can test, however it would still not load after. There's nothing of interest in Apple Silicon ROM apart from iBoot version.https://Hi, nothing changed for the ...not supported,...

Is there any chance you can zero the serial number in that firmware and send it to me? I might have broken something in the update, as there were changes made to the GetIsApfsCapable function.
As for the 'save as', I've purposefully designed it that way. When you apply a patch it will load in a clone of the binary buffer, patch and promt the user to save it. If one cancels, it will discard all patches in memory....

PITERPENYPITERPENY Thanks for sharing, I see the hardware config MD6M was missing from the internal database so it has been added for the next update. HWC: MD6M = CC: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019).

PITERPENYPITERPENY I'm not sure, I've no experience with the EZP. You'll have to find a "compatible" 1.8V chip model by chance in the list. I had to do this when I had a TL866II+.

Purchase a 1.8v adapter and we'll go from there, do not plug the T2 SOCROM into 3v3, there is an extremely high chance it will burn out....
