Macbook A1502 820-3476-a don´t turn on (measures included)

Hi to all:


I have a Macbook pro model A1502
Board 820-3476-a

Liquid damage, cleaned with isopropyl.

Don´t boot in SMC Bypass, it tries to turn on without luck (check voltages, for example 5v usb intermittent).


I have two chargers, one is an original apple magsafe 85w 16.5-18.5v 4.6a max. And 60w generic clone.

Sometimes Stays with orange light, fan OFF. No heat.

I have found water damage in components: c5010 and c5017, and sustitute (1uF both), like uploaded photo.

Can anybody help me please?

Somebody know, if the remade battery is ok? i didn't see the original polarity of the batteries...

Battery repair is a very risky business as one wrong connection can lead to a fire or worse. Highly recommend that you consider to just replace the battery with a known good one. If available to you, Amazon is good for such sourcing since the customer (you) are able to return the item for any reason back to Amazon.

Thx for your answer mon2, actually, now it power on.

two important factors:
1) rebuild water damaged vias
and
2) Use original charger
But the input is not the correct one. I solder the clone cable, to the original base, but it doesn´t work. so, the conclusion, the mac recognize the clone cable.

Generic charger + original cable = turn on.

I'm starting to think that something is missing here, and that's why it won't let me update the original bios...
