Re: Sony XBR-65X930D No screen
while powered up, see if theres about 12 volts on each side of the tcon fuse, neg. probe on chassis ground, pos. probe on each side of fuse.Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. THEN YOU GET A PENALTY FOR RESPONDING TO HIS ATTACKS. BEEN GOING ON FOR WAY TOO LONG. DONE SUPPORTING A SITE THAT ALLOWS THIS BS. -

Re: Sony XBR-65X930D No screen
micom didnt send signal to power boards to turn on T-CON 12V.
as you replaced Main boards and did firmware update.. and now it turn on and off.. so need to do reset..
while its on / white LED on ) plug it out from wall socket... press the middle joystick and pull it down... keep it at this position while you plug it in wall socket again... untill you have the while led turn to green keep press 3 second then release your finger.... leave it it could restart 2 time.Comment

Re: Sony XBR-65X930D No screen
it tell only one story..
the update you did after you replaced the main boards was not successful. or wrong file.
you need to ready USB stick with correct firmware.. and try again the reset while the usb inserted at the TV.Comment

Re: Sony XBR-65X930D No screen
did you try it with one ribbon cable at a time hooked up from tcon to panel driver board, see if theres anything on display or any change, don't let the end of the loose cable touch anything such as metal chassis, don't want to short anything out. Best to do all connect and disconnect of cables with tv unplugged from power to avoid any errant surges and such.Last edited by nomoresonys; 12-20-2022, 05:07 AM.Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by reformattJust had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".
It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...07-31-2025, 08:37 PM -
by misterhausHi, this is my first post - so thanks in advance for any assistance.
I have a Sony XBR 65x930D (manufactured in July-2016), which was initially showing a black screen, faint backlight glow, and played musical sounds when powered up. After some experimenting (mostly unplugging cable and re-plugging), including attempting hard-reset and firmware update, it is now showing video, but the left side of the screen is fuzzy/grainy. (See attached pic)
I am trying to decide if this could be the T-CON board, or the DPS board.
When I press on the upper right of the DPS... -
by ChrissygizmoHello again everyone,
This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…
I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried... -
by smic717394Hi,
I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on... - Loading...
