Philips BDP5180/12 Blue-Ray "logo" in image. blocked

    hi
The device is connected via HDMI to a TV. It turns on with the power key and the "Logo" appears in the image; but the device does not respond to any order from the control and/or keyboard.
    Does not open tray.
Not even the front display lights up.
Voltages in the connector from the source to the main are correct, according to serigraphy.
Voltage from the connector to the front display, they are fine.
    Display filament powered.
BGA memory ICs have a temperature between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius.
I have not tried to update software via USB.
I think of a possible boot failure in the BIOS... Has anyone had this problem; any opinion, please...?
    Thank you

I will assume that you have not seen this unit working correctly, will also assume you tried all the usual, different cable, another disc, one of the other hdmi on tv.

Obviously, it is tested with another HDMI cable. And also the RCA output gives the same problem

As I mentioned, it did not update via USB.
We will try; but I doubt very much that if the boot does not detect the USB
          Thanks for your opinion

NO, what you mentioned was "I have not tried to update software via USB" if you can not even comprehend what YOU write then you are not going to get too far.

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

Philips 65PUS8518/12 distorted image after main board replacement
                  by tuner2000i
                  hello everyone,

I don't normally do tv repairs but this is a case with my personal TV which got fried together with many other electronics in my house after a thunderstorm.

The TV is a Philips 65PUS8518/12 which had no power. I measured and concluded that the main board was probably fried through ethernet or hdmi. I found a board with same number 715GD328-M0F-B00-005Y (I had G) but from a 55PUS8518. The TV starts but the image is doubled, distorted. I need to set the panel code which is 016 according to the sticker on the back but I can not seem to do it.

                  ...

Philips 58PUS8536/12 Backlight ok, no image
                  by malekservis
                  Hello,
the TV turns on fine, seems to be working, but shows no image outside of a thick white vertical line as it turns on that also disappears almost instantly, and then it's just backlight. I've tried unplugging either side, but still can't get an image. I suspect it's a panel issue, but thought i'd ask some smarter people to confirm. I haven't found any weird readings, but then again i'm just randomly poking around with a multimeter.

                  Any information would be appreciated....

                  by Kartowl
Hi, my TV image started showing those lines and the image faded away, but sound is still coming from it, what could be the cause and is it fixable? I thought it could be the tcon board but I red on the internet that it could be a failing panel
