It is not common to have those fail, but you should test before you go and place an order. They are common-cathode Schottky rectifiers. They should read as diodes (black to center pin) and not read shorted they other way around.

The 2, 1/2" square surface mounted items on the underside could be similar devices, or they could be MOSFETs. They don't appear overheated or or otherwise damaged, and testing would mean lifting (desoldering) one of the legs. It is hazardous to do for fear of damaging the item physically. I'd just like you to report the numbers for reference.

The Schottky's show 275 (DM804) and 148 (DM807) respectively; with red on the center leg the readings will climb to over 1000.
The surface mounts (QM802 & QM803) on the underside, which took a bit of scrubbing to remove the excess flux, are both D480 with BA8B2N underneath.

Sounds good. I can't locate any info on QM802,3. Those numbers can be a PITA to read even with a magnifier.

Let's hope that the fuse and MOSFET fix it.

The good news is the MOSFET and fuse replacement allowed the set to power up. The bad news is the screen is fractured in several places.
It really burns me up that some folks must feel they need to deceive others in order to make a buck. What comes around goes around, I always say.

Nope... couldn't tell if the screen was flugged until I gained the ability to power it up. Very frustrating indeed as another screen costs more than the set is worth. At least the rest of the set works even though it's more or less a parts set now, unless I get lucky and run across another one with thrashed innards.
