Re: Phillips 65pfl6502
Download the latest firmware version and upload it. If possible try to find the software with the .pkg extension in stead of the .upg extension.
Create a FAT32 formatted thumbdrive , place the unzipped file in the root, place the thumbdrive in a USB2.0 port and connect the tv to power. When you use a thumbdrive with a led you are able to see if the firmware is updating, it will also be shown on screen.Comment

Re: Phillips 65pfl6502
tv totally dead no indicator light on front, good visual check first, if not see anything obvious, unhook all cables from powerboard, plug powercord into powerboard, check voltages, usually a little legend/map close by that tells expected voltages, at that point probably looking for standby voltage and maybe ac-detect voltage, see what you have.Comment

by Asraf AtbHi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....1 Photo -
by paparazzo79Hi guys.I own Z690 F Strix board in one of my PCs....everything was working fine with integrated graphics card.I turned off power from it, installed graphics card from another PC, connected all the peripheral cables, optical sound cable of course when everything was switched off. Then I powered on the machine and integrated soundcard is dead. How did this manage to happen and if there is a way to diagnose and replace damaged component?
The new pci-e soundcard costs here 80 euros which is half of money I spent on motherboard.
I still can not believe that I am such a looser and don't know... -
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!
i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...-

by flibidyI have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.
The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.
Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.
What Ive done........8 Photos-

by cheeky2I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection... - Loading...
