I ask service technician here, is it safe to use this adapter which heats up pretty badly, he told me, that heats because:
1.You have faulty/damaged battery with wear level pretty high
2. is not giving enough current that is why it is heating.
So since you guys wrote me, is not safe to use this adapter, I STOPPED USING LAPTOP...
Maybe even heats up more because I am using laptops and adapters on my bed?

I never ordered over aliexpress, nor do I know if it is possible, will check on that.
Until then, what can I do with replacement one during use, since it is heating up very much to the point yoi can not hold hand onto it??
Maybe make breaks during use, shutdown laptop for 10-15 min then turn back on again???Leave a comment:

Nope, his adapter does not fit..
His tip is a lot smaller in diameter and his adapter does not have this "needle" in the middle, like my replacement one has.
He also told me that it will be tough to find such genuine adapter.Leave a comment:

I am affraid I don't have anymore solutions then these 2:
1. Either ti keep using replacement adapter which is very very hot during use.
2. Purchase used genuine Acer adapter from online seller in unknown condition and use that one....Leave a comment:

A guy who has genuine Acer Adapter contacted me, and tomorrow I will try if tip fits, because
I am confused, if the tip is the same and will be compatible with my Acer Predator G5-793-7108, because on e-bay site, my model of the laptop is not listed under compatible models.
Why is that?
He measured his tip is 5.5 mm but required is 5.0 m.m, correct?
Could that make a difference?

On the online app which was made for selling laptops and other things, I came to this description for a laptop that potentially I would like to buy, because something in the message below, does not make sense to me, either the seller is lying ot this could be true, or the issue can easily be resolved.
I will upload picture what Windows errror code and message he is receiving. He put pictures of the laptop and this message under description in quotes.

Audiotechnica ATH-CKS5TW tearing down, what to do?
Hi forum.
My Audotechnica left earbud started to tear down/dissasemble since yesterday, probably due to excessive heat outside.
So what can I do about it?
As soon as I take it out of the cradle, it fells apart.
Maybe superglue, but don't think it is smart idea, since it is delicate and those are earbuds, must be very careful not to glue smth else.

wire from CPU cooler mount touches screw on the back of the sound card
Hi guys.
When I removed all RAM modules yesterday, previously I had to remove CPU cooler and this thingy (dunno its name, this wire which hold fan onto the heatsink).
Now when I want to reinstall sound card, as you see this wire touches one screw on the soundcard (marked with red).
Could it short the soundcard or I am overthinking again?
This is expensive sound card and would not want to damage it.
Should I normally instal the soundcard into X1 slot without worries?

May I diagnose like this:
Take off the sheilding, install the card to its pci-e x1 slot take thermal camera and inspect the card with it, see what heats up on it?Leave a comment:
