Thanks to all for your previous posts. I am having trouble with my sound "blipping" off at approximate 20 to 30 minute intervals and lately, the sound/picture going out completely. Unplugging and replugging the power cord would reset it. I, too, took a hard look at the Delta board and found a cold (cracked) solder joint at C310 [photo attached] as referenced by 12ax7a on 4/20; everything else looked tight. Just finished the resolder and will test tonight.
In the meantime, I've had another minor problem ever since the unit was new - the blue power-on indicator light on the front has never worked despite having it looked at by a Best Buy service maintainer (a whole 'nother story there) and calls to WX to no avail. I know that it has the ABILITY to work since it flashes on whenever the set is either unplugged or plugged in to wall power. The remote sensor on the same board works just fine. I've taken a photo of the board [attached] and even though everything SEEMS to be OK, the silk screened area under the capacitor shows two mounting possibilities; I'm wondering if a different capacitor of whatever size would "enable" the light. I want it to work because without it, we sometimes need to push our power on button on the remote several times before we see backlight and the input source graphics.
Any ideas???

I had friend can make LED at front working by use 5 VDC from power supply Green wire if you look on back is make 5 VDC close to yellow wire ( is just turn on when you push power buttom only) add 100 ohm 1/2 watt resistor weld to left or right leg LED not mid leg

I'm baaaaak!!!! Since my last C310 problem in May of 2010, I've had no 'cutting off' problems with my TV BUT.....it started up again recently. Took it apart today and found the OTHER pin of C310 cracked. This time, I scratched away more of the trace coating and resoldered having more surface contact to hold it in - did the same with the pin that I repaired back in 2010. Let'em try to loosen up NOW!!!!!!

I wanted to say a huge "Thank You!" to acidophilus for the helpful information. I had the same problem with our westinghouse tv and after a brief look at the solder connections of the transformer I found the broken one. Too bad my wife already went out and bought a new tv (I think she was just looking for a reason anyway). This one will make a great replacement for the old tube tv in the spare bedroom. Thanks again for the help, hopefully one day I can return the favor.

Success! I found the T1 pin on the transformer had a bad connection so I re-soldered it and it turned on. Spread the word.

I know it's been about 4 years since this problem, and I'm a latecomer... but basically having the same problem. Where did you get the parts to fix (outside of solder) this TV?

My computer, when the TV is plugged-in, brings it up as a regular display, but I am not seeing an image on the screen and the blue LED power indicator flashes once and turns off, but the TV screen doesn't flash. I feel it may be linked to a problem with the main power board in general.
