Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
try the firmware from Arıza Notları
while the tv ON, plug it from wall socket.. put all files on usb drive and insert it at any usb ports, press OK on the RC and keep pressing while you plug the tv in wall socket again... hope your screen will show progressComment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
do the 3 files have to be in a folder,
or do i load them on to usb
as 3 separate items?
ive double checked the voltages on U11 and U13
and as you say i would expect them to be the same?Comment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
the other 2 are not marked
looked on back cover and on pcb
i tried the usb next to the scart skt and followed your instructions
holding down OK button waited 5 minutes no fast blinking
so powered off and tried the side usb ,no change
only now when i removed the usb and powered on i cant get sound from scart i/p which i had before so now im confused
just looked on cct there labelled side usb, back usb, and usb3 which is the correct one?Last edited by jimbofz; 11-17-2020, 01:35 PM.Comment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
ok back to basics when the main board is working normally
it provides a enable voltage to turn on the dc/dc converter ics
on the intergrated tcon board .
now after trying to install the f/w
we still have no enable voltage on pin 22 or 30 of the lvds
neither of these pins are s/c or low resistance to deck .
if i could find out which is the enable pin in the two ics RT6939 AND RT6935 these ics are made by RICHTEC and their website has info on hundreds of ics that they make except the ones used in this vestel panel.
i may have to wait until i can compare with a working vestelComment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
After upgrade led must go off.
If tv going to standby mode chassis is not working.
You write u13 voltages before, this voltage values showing tv is standby mode.
first make sure the tv is working.https://www.badcaps.netComment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
i dont understand why ,
but tv was definately on when voltages were measured ,
as the backlight was lit and i had sound via scart i/p.
but i now have no sound ?
i will try the upgrade f.w again tomorrowComment

Re: intergrated tcon board ic rt6939 vestel polaroid p55up0277a
them unplugged mains ,removed usb stick and powered up.
tv comes on as before (dark blue image backlight on)
but now with no sound via scart i/p
so i checked the voltages on u13 again
and pin 3 has no volts ,on cct its shown as write protection .
pin 6 also has no volts shown on cct as sclk clock
any ideas ? should i try to buy a main board ?Comment

by x_orange90_xJust bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

by advantThis thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.
I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match... -
by snimmitsGood afternoon,
I have a Polaroid P43D300.
It shipped with WiFi and Bluetooth.
Two weeks ago, I ran through the first time installation.
This did a full reset and went through the first time setup.
Once complete, I went to settings > sound.
selected Audio Link, changed setting from disabled to enabled, pressed green button on remote and the tv does a search (discovery) for Bluetooth devices.
search completes and doesn't find any devices.
I have tried everything I can think of.
Can someone provide... -
by HakuuHi There,
This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.
After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

Good day, I have a TCL TV: Model 43s423. After turning ON the TV, the ROKU TV logo appears with fine lines over the whole screen, then after a while there are vertical bands in the middle of the screen top to bottom and the TV tries to update its firmware but I do not have the remote to connect it to my new network connection. Also the Power ON light blinks 2 times in quick succession. When I remove the ribbon on the right of the tcon board the left side of the screen shows but with fine lines. If I remove the left side ribbon and connect the right side ribbon the whole screen is blank with...
