Re: Sony KD-65XE9005 emmc .
did you take the emmc off the board, or did you use wires soldered to the main board?
Permanent Write Protect– Once the Permanent Write Protect is set, the protected memory region becomes read-only.

Re: Sony KD-65XE9005 emmc .
apparently I didn't into run this problem yet. Nothing you can do about it, besides copying the old emmc to a new emmc and put that chip back on the main board.
You have to get the emmc very carefully off. You also need to reball the new emmc to put back on the main board, which is a pain in the butt.Comment

by saghi88Hello everyone,
The TV won't turn on (no power, no LED,). All voltages are present on the motherboard. The CPU is working and is getting warm.
This is a common issue with this model. If the eMMC is faulty, the TV will either go into a reboot loop or not turn on at all.
does anyone have the EMMC dump file?

Hello guys, can someone help me with an eMMC dump for a Sony KDL55W-955B TV, I tried to read the original memory with the RT809H but it shows me that it only has 1888MB even though it should have around 3.8GB. On a new memory it shows me 3776MB. From what I found on the Sony page, the following models could also be compatible:
KDL-65W955B, KDL-55W955B, KDL-60W855B, KDL-50W805B, KDL-42W705B, KDL-32W705B, KDL-48W605B, KDL-40W605B, KDL-60W605B, KDL-55W805B, KDL-42W805B, KDL-48W585B, KDL-32W706B, KDL-42W706B, KDL-42W815B, KDL-42W817B, KDL-50W815B, KDL-55W815B, KDL-42W828B, KDL-42W829B,... -
by LanpartyHello guys
One million dollars question.
The problem is I have this tv with almost dead Emmc if I hold Vol - and Power button for about 40 sec. it goes in Recovery mod but does not want to boot from USB . I read the Emmc H26M52103FMR 16Gb and shows that User date is damaged corrupted. I have bought the same Emmc I copied all Boo1 Boot 2 and CSD_EXT file 512 kb from oem old emmc and the user date 14.6Gb from another dump but same model TV. Reballing reading and writing went without any problems but when I soldered back on PCB the TV does not go even in Recovery mod totally dead.I... -

by PontyPCsHi people.
I have been trying to get my head round these issues with the eMMC putting the TV in to a boot loop condition, or completely dead, when a dump of the Boot 1, Boot 2 and USERDATA partitions have been made, the MLC lifetime counter has been reset, using the original eMMC with the RPMB partition intact and the eMMC is flashed with the original dump, Netflix and a few other Apps don't work. i assume all the DHCP keys and factory programmed RPMB access Key will be contained within the original dump, and as we are re-flashing the original eMMC i would expect every thing to work.... - Loading...
