I have a Sony VAIO SVE1512E1E (motherboard da0hk5mb) video card is broken, has artifacts, I want to disable it, the processor is an I3-3110M that supposedly has an integrated Intel GPU and I want to disable the onboard Radeon so that can be used.
I download some schematics, and tried to remove VPL1, but then the laptop starts some leds, and shut off. Should I try to lift VPL1 and VPR47 and pass a cable to one tip of VPR47 and the other back to VPU1 to see if that works or it is pointless?
That seems to be some feedback to VPU1 and I guess if it does not detect voltage, laptop shuts off
I'm also open to other ideas, did anyone suceed on doing something like this on VAIO laptops?
Thanks
