I camt seem to locate any test points on the driver boards themselves, nor a fuse??

Thats not to say they arent any, its just everything is that small, and my eyes arent the greatest lol

There are quite alot less than 100 Ohms, so what would that indicate?

Only SMD parts I have changed so far are backlight LEDs

If you see any that are noticeably lower than the others you will know, last ones I measured were pretty much over 100 on 200 setting.

All you have to do is to test the resistance of the caps, it can also be applied to any kind of boards when troubleshooting the problem.

KDL-60EX500. Comes on fine, sound is fine, backlights come on. Blank screen. Already tried reset POWER/VOL-. Anyone else have this problem? Possibly bad T-Con RUNTK4244ZZ or panel? Could main or power supply cause this? There were 2 blown 560u 35v on power going to backlights but they were still working fine. Thanks for your help.

Hitachi 55HDS69 55" Plasma TV - No Picture But Sound
    by KYBOSH
Picked up a bahemoth plasma TV not too long ago and just now getting around to looking at it.
No picture but you hear the TV static (white noise) playing loud and clear.
The back was already taken off (and no screws were provided) as the previous owner had already taken a look.
But it seems they didn't get too far and just left it.

When I first took a look I was amazed at how pristine the inside looked.
Its as if the TV had been in a time capsule.
Caps looked like they were just pulled off the self.
Copper coils had no sign of corrosion on...

    TCL 55US57 backlights, no picture.
    by DXseekerMO
So here we go with another screen short TCL. For this exercise left and right will be reference looking at the screen.

The person I got this TV from said the color was bad in a vertical fashion about 1/4 of the way over the left side of the screen. Shortly after the symptoms below started.

Power Supply, main and T-CON board are working.

Symptoms: The TV has backlights but no picture with both FFC's attached to the T-CON and does not respond to the remote or buttons, and the TV appears to continuously re-boot.

    Unhook FFC from left side...

Samsung UN70TU6980FXZA no sound no picture but does have backlights
    by stinger
When I turn tv on, the backlights come on but there is no sound or picture. I have read that these tv's have problems with the panels going bad but the "no sound" has me questioning if the main board is bad. Is there a way to troubleshoot the main board to determine if that is the problem?
