    panasonic tx-48ax630b trouble

    hi guys im back again.

i got this tx-48ax630b panasonic that i thought had backlight issues but its something else.

the tv powers on green led flashing for a split second when all the backlights flash on just for a second then goes off and red led flashes 1 time continuously. i checked all the backlights and double checked again and seemed ok but i took the screen off anyway just to make sure and every led is fine.

very occasionally when it is unplugged and powered back on the tv will stay on but 99% of the time its just as described. what advice is there and what should i be looking for please?

1 blink is BL_SOS, How did you check the backlights? How can you be sure every led is fine?
There are 7 return lines from the panel led's, check the voltage on each return line while turning on the tv, I suspect one or more lines will be different

i started with checking with a led tester and all the lines seemed ok but i still wasnt convinced so i have taken he lcd off and checked each led strip individually and all are drawing the same voltage and every led is working.

i tried checking the voltages on the power supply but the time between switching the tv on and it going into fault mode is literally a split second so dont have time to get a reading.

ok so i finally had time to mess with this a bit more and eventually found 1 led that was working but drawing way more power than the others causing the bl_sos. sooooo...... now i got the tv working but it has some narrow horizontal black lines on the screen starting darker from the right and going to just over half way across the screen and fading to invisible by the time they get to the left side of the screen. there are about 10 - 12 randomly spaced lines, hard to get a photo but you can just about make out the lines. i have checked all the connections and tried flexing / moving all the ribbons which makes no difference, so has anyone any idea what might be causing the lines? to be fair i never seen the tv working before i got it so it might be that the lines were there even before i got it. thanks everyone for the help etc etc.

you were quite right, i eventually found 1 bad led that was lighting fine but drawing too much power and causing the bl_sos. the tv is now working again though it does have some lines on the screen that may have been there before i even got the tv or maybe as a result of damage from getting into the pannel (bloody thing was glued together and fought a good fight to stay glued together lol) but anyway thanks for the advice and just though i should let you know that you was correct.

Panasonic TX-48CX350B backlights but white screen , blank screen
              by Chrissygizmo
Hi all, I’ve got a problem I hope someone can help me fixi.
I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...

Trouble fixing Panasonic su-htb500 sound bar
              by chuds
I am repairing Panasonic su-htb500 recently, the main power supply is not powered, the standby power supply is 5.84V, I replaced the capacitor C5726 on the main board of the power supply, and now I find that the output voltage of ic700 is only 0.4v, and the main power supply still can't work, can anyone provide a repair In addition, I also found a problem. The pins of IC700 are different from the common ones, and the information cannot be found (the part number is C0CBABC00117). Does anyone know what type of IC to use instead, thank you!

Panasonic TX-55CX400B backlights flashing on and off
              by Bloopeta
Hi peeps, have a Panasonic TX-55CX400B here, guy I got it from said he tried to turn it on other day, and no backlights.

When I received it last night, I plugged it in, and it came straight on and appeared to be working fine, so knowing this would only be temporary, I left it running for a good few hours, and they eventually went off. I tried turning it off and back on again, and this time the backlights started flashing at a steady continuous pace. So I turned it off and left it overnight as it was getting late.
This morning when I turned it on, same problem, backlights...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
              by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
              by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...
