    LC65lE654u no power

When first recived this tv I had a light blue standby light. Unplugged power removed left side ribbon cable to the t-con board and now no standby light showing. Reset everything back to where it was and checked voltages. Getting all led power 86v. As far as voltages to mainboard pins 1,2,3 19 volts4,5,6 ground pins 7,8 0 volts pin 9-ps on 0v pin 10 0 volts. Checked main board caps getting different readings with same cap values 220uf 25v

Test all pins on connector from mainboard to powerbard on powerboard side, all board connected. Test in standby/plugged in but off, then apply power report both conditions, example: pin 1 bl-on=0 volts standby and 3.3 powered on, report results for every pin.

There is no STBY voltage on this PSU. There is 19V going straight to the main board. So your problem has something to do with that main board. The lower voltages are all created on there. If you look, there are a bunch of buck converters. Check them all.

" pin 9-ps on 0v" Check this pin with tv powered on, if no voltage, looks like the mainboard is not sending ps-on signal.

Could it be the caps giving different readings they are the same value should they not be giving similar readings?

You cannot accurately check the cap's capacitance while the cap is still hooked to the circuit, there are other component that are connected to the cap so the reading will not be valid.

There is 19V going into the main board. However there is no way that the main IC, ram, flash etc. run on that voltage. Some thing has to convert the 19V down to 5V, 3.3V etc. to run all these IC's (buck converters, LDO's, regulators). So it could be that the main IC is dead, because it doesn't get any voltage.

That makes sense, so I guess I have to order a board.

                          Hi All,

                          Need help.

I have a samsung un60j620dafxza led tv. When I plug it in it has no display, no sounds, and no standby lights.

So I opened the tv and disconnected the power to the mainboard and the backlight powered up. This according to many people says that this is a mainboard
problem. I checked the voltage coming from the stb and I read 1.3 volts on pins 1,3,5 and 7 which are low volts instead of 13 volts which i think the lcd panel
might be drawing too much power from the power supply that it prevents the right voltage going to the mainboard....

                          Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                          by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                          Assuming...

LG 55EG910V - no power and no standby light
                          by AleMonti
                          Hi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.

The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.

After checking the basics I did the following:
                          • I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It
                          ...
