Philips 20PF4121/58 power inverter board problem

    Hi.

I have LCD TV Philips with power inverter board problem.

TV Philips model: 20PF4121/58, chasiss LC4.1E AB

power inverter board model: DELTA DAC-12M019 AOF, REV.05

After electrical shock by storm is dead.

No any visible damage or short circuit found.

I replace some sensitive parts on board,
    U101=EA1523A, Q107=11N80C3, optocoupler U100=PC817.

    No power up.

Can not found schematic for this power inverter board to check carefully small smd resistors which many are not standard values and is very hard to check if resistance is correct.

Any help, experience with this power inverter board?

    Thank you.

I check all resistors, standard and not standard values are OK.

      Any suggestion?

What's going on with Q208 where it meets the heatsink? Have you checked the diodes and MOSFETs out of circuit?

          Hi.

I check this critical parts and also other diodes and transistors,
          Q208, Q204, D201, D202, Q209, Q205, D101, D103, D100,
          no faults found.

          Thank you.

I think the white SMD GAS102 and GAS103 are gas discharge tubes. Can you check continuity across them? Maybe they failed short?

Was the main a/c fuse bad (open) or was it still good? did you have any voltage on the secondary plug? ie standby voltage, likely the 3.3 volts
Also what is the voltage across the main filter cap (100µf/450v)

Have no schematic how this parts are connected.
Very hard to see from board.

Voltage on main filter capacitor is 326V DC.
Main fuse was no damaged during electrical shock.

                Output DC voltages are:

+10V output = not stable = 2.8V to 3.4V goes up and down
                +3.3 output = 0.88V to 0.94V
                +12V output = 0.28V

Check the diodes in the secondary and see if any are shorted. If you disconnect the plug to the main board does the 3.3 volts stay constant?
There is a small elec. cap. in the primary, you could try replacing it. (near u100 opto)

There is no 3.3V on connector, voltage is 0.88 to 0.94V only.
At +10V output is variable voltage 2.8V to 3.4V and yes it stay some time
the same when i disconnect the plug.
                    +12V output have 0.28V only.

I check diodes are OK there is no shorts at secondary side.

If you are getting 2.8-3.4 on the 12v, you should be getting something on the 3.3 volts, check components between the 3.3v at the plug, back to the transformer

I check from +3.3V to transformer secondary output,

                        +3.3V>>L108>>CE101>>C127>>L101>>CE107>>D101

                        nothing found.

I suspect that primary side have a problem and is shuting down, wish to start but something is wrong here.

If the primary was not operating at all you should not get anything on the 12 volt line either. It is likely it is trying to start and shutting down, just pulsing enough to make a small voltage on the 12 volt line.
Is the main ic a TEA1523A
What is the vcc voltage on pin 1 of the primary ic? You need to have negative probe of meter on hot ground to measure it
The start voltage is min 9 volts, if the voltage is below 8 volts the ic will stop working

"Voltage on main filter capacitor is 326V DC" Do you have this steady voltage while the other voltages are low and or flucuating?

                              Main IC = EA1532A

Voltage on main filter capacitor is stable.

Will measure voltage on pin 1 on primary IC today.

Sorry, I uploaded the wrong file, I was looking at the first post for the number. For some reason that VCC voltage is not coming up above 10 volts to keep the circuit running, The small winding on the primary side should go to a resistor (R133 1Ω) then to a diode (d104?) It should charge C131 to about 20 volts to keep the circuit working.

Was the original FET shorted or does it still check ok?

Capacitor smd C131 is not present on the board.
The voltage goes from D104 to CE108.
Voltage on CE108 is the same as voltage on PIN1 on IC TEA1532A,
is variable goes up and down, from 9.33V to 10.40V.

Original FET is not shorted, nothing is shorted here what i checked for now.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Hi everyone,

I'm working on an Acer Nitro 5 unit with the following specs:

                                          Initial Issue

The laptop initially presented graphic issues and driver failure (Code 43) for the GPU.

After preventive maintenance (cleaning, thermal paste, etc.), it powered on normally. We disassembled it again to inspect the GPU, reassembled...

                                          Hello partners.

Could someone tell me how to make this Philips TV source work without the mainboard being connected? The model of the board is EAX65423701 (2.1) and the model of the Philips TV is 40PFH40009/88.
The TV is dead, there is no standby light, however there is a voltage of 12v on the pins ( included 12v VAU ) and 3.2v on the PS-ON pin (see photo) when the power board is connected to the main board. If I disconnect both boards I only get 8 volts on 12v pins. I would like to rule out a fault in the main board by making it work, but so far no one has been able to tell...

I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock

I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

                                          After all of...
