Does anybody know about PTS Electronics? It looks like they have been around for a long time.

Re: Philips 46PFL5505D/F7 blinking power light no pic no sound

I have found main boards for different size tv's (40 or 55") that look exactly like mine. Same product series, slightly different part number on the boards but exactly same board number silk screened on the board. Would they work on my 46" tv? The only difference I can see is one capacitor on my board is not on the other boards even though there is a place for it, same part id number (C3024).

        CapLeaker,
I don't detect anything getting really hot, there are a few components that get hot but not so hot I can't touch it.

You need to match the PCB assembly number, the P/N that is silkscreened on the board is the blank PCB number which can be stuffed in many ways to make many PCB assemblies for the required TV models.

How close does the PCB assembly number have to match?

My tv is a 46PFL5505D/F7, MFG Date is May 2010, silk screened board #BA01P5G0401 2_1, board sticker #A01Q5UZ (A01Q5MMA-001-DM).

Donor tv is a 46PFL7505D/F7, MFG Date is Feb. 2011, silk screened board #BA01P5G0401 2_1, board sticker #A01Q7UF (A01Q7MMA-001-DM)

Here you can check the differences between the 2 models, one is refresh rate 240hz the other is 120hz, ,power wattage 1 is 165w the other 262 watts ,one is LED-LCD,the other TFT active Matrix,

yes I bought it, thank you very much. The specs are identical to my existing board except a couple things like it has Netflix connection. I bought another board the day before yesterday, it is not going to work, I guess I will have to resell it.

OK, guys, I got the A01Q6MMA-002-DM Main Board in the mail yesterday and installed it today. I hooked it up, plugged it in and to my surprise, it worked!! My TV is back up and running on the wrong board I purchased from eBay for $94.
                            A quick update.....
My Philips TV is model 46PFL5505D/F7, my main board is A01Q5MMA-001-DM (A01Q5UZ on the board sticker).
The replacement main board came from Philips TV model 46PFL5705D/F7, the main board is A01Q6MMA-002-DM.
The only thing I have noticed is the row of incidental buttons (neflix, vudu, etc) on the remote doesn't work, I looked up the remote for the donor TV and noticed that row of buttons is different. All the other buttons are the same and all work. WOO HOO!

I found mine on Craigslist for $20 and found the diode problem thanks to this forum. It ran great for 2 1/2 years or so and then this main board problem. Best TV I ever had, great picture, 4 hdmi connectors and the usb connector, which reminds me I successfully updated the TV software by using the donor TV model number for the Philips software search. Thanks again!

Im hoping someone might be able to give me some idea of what may be wrong with my Monitor Audio RSW12 Sub.

Ive owned it since new in around 2002, so would really like to keep it running if I can, it was the first ‘decent' bit of audio equipment I ever purchased and is a little sentimental.

The issue I had was that it would power up with the red light, but sometimes the green light would not come on and I would get no bass from it. If the green light did come on though, I would get sound out of it.

                                      Hello,

I've got a really strange issue with the speakers on my Philips 43PUS7506/12. It makes this awful loud buzzing now. It happened after it was attempted to be wall mounted - I think the back got squeezed and something broke.
I thought maybe the speakers got damaged, so I replaced them - no dice.
                                      • Using the internal speakers, it always happens.
                                      • Using the headphone jack, it never happens.
                                      • Using the digital/optical out with a soundbar - it happens after about 2h/movie runtime - it's never as drastic, it just pops in and out, but I didn't want it to damage the sound bar

                                      Hi,
I have the above tv that just shows a red light blinking twice 5 times, i have taken the back off and all the capacitors seem ok,
When i disconnect the mainboard from the PSU all the led's light up blinking fast but as soon as i reconnect the mainboard back to the power supply i get the red light blinking again twice 5 times,
I have attached pictures of the Mainboard, PSU and a small video (zipped) showing what happens when i disconnect the lead from the psu
                                      Any help would be appreciated...

Sony XBR-75X950G seems dead with a black screen but backlight and sound is working and no blinking red lights

I have a 2019 75" x950g, and while playing a movie, the screen suddenly went dark in a weird way, where it faded towards one corner into being fully black. Now the TV turns on, and the backlight comes on, but there is nothing displayed except black. Sound still comes through the TV speakers, and i have tried doing a hard reset using the volume - and power buttons while plugging the display back in, but it did not fix it. I can confirm that pressing buttons on my remote is still doing "something" because I'm hearing sound still, even though the screen is black.
