    HiSense 50K360G Button Lock

Had a HiSense come in.. Powers up great, goes to screen. Everything is displayed OK..

But the buttons don't work on the button board.. Only the ON/OFF works...

Same with a remote.. Only the ON/OFF works, nothing else..

The display says NO DEVICE ATTACHED and stays on, even when I hook up a DVD player or something..

Everything looks good, it's just "locked"...

    Any idea???

I am thinking a firmware update if possible...

Have you tried holding the MENU button while turning on the tv? This is suposed to fix it if it is stuck in USB mode

Just for sheets and greens, I booted it up with a thumb drive in the USB Port.. It booted up and showed the contents of the thumb drive, but still none of the buttons worked...

After an hour long chat with HiSense I learn that no firmware is available..

Seems if I want this one fixed, I am gonna have to replace the board.

Possibly... I researched it and it seems that it's "bricked".. Likely TV lost power during a firmware update... Which doesn't make much sense since HiSense.. (sense?? since?? HiSense?? I crack myself up.. ) says that there never was a firmware released for it..

Since the TV does read a USB at bootup, I am hoping redoing the firmware will help..

Didn't seem to address my issue..

But I did get a new BIOS chip from EBAY...

But I am not sure where the BIOS chip is...

Attached is a pic and the chip I think it is, says EM24C32F, is marked in red..

                                  OK Update on the update...

Just for sheets and greens, I grabbed a HiSense remote that I had flying around...

Had the TV on and pushed INPUT on the remote.. SOME BEACH!!! It went to input!!! Used volume and stuff and it all worked!!!

Then I shut it off and turned it back on and ALL the buttons on the button board worked!!!

When I tried a "remote" before I just used a UNIVERSAL programmed for HiSense...

Maybe I needed an actual HiSense remote to kick it in gear..

                                  Go figger....

Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...

I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.

Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...

                                    Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...

                                    Hello,

With the power button connected it either boot loops with the apple logo or no display but the charging meter shows it looping on charging every few seconds.

                                    No corrosion any where!

Tried a replacement power button off ebay and the same.

Very occasionally it will work with the power button connected!

Same results with or without the battery.

Can it be a fault with the Audio board or the mainboard?

The touch Id assembly connects through the Audio board first then to the Mainboard.

I don't know if anyone here has experience with Japanese slot (pachislo) machines, but I sure hope so. I bought this machine last week in semi-working order. It would play and the reels would spin, but the stop buttons would not stop them at all. I found that the high-frequency filtering tantalum capacitor was bad on the reel stop board, along with the fuse being blown. I replaced the fuse and removed the capacitor. I haven't replaced the cap yet because I didn't have one on hand, but it's not necessary for the operation of the machine.

The issue now is the Stop buttons are intermittently...
