Hi,
Another one with the same symptoms - had keyboard flashing but now just a solid power LED.
I've tried a couple of the good BIOS files from here just to see if I got any different symptoms, but issue remains the same so have provided the original BIOS dump for repair if anyone would be so gracious!
Model is again a Legion 5 15ACH6H - Serial number is PF468KP4
Not feeling particularly confident that it'll fix it now, but here's hoping.
Thank you.

HP 14S-DQ0000na bios
Hi,
I have a 14S-DQ0000na (yes, thats for real!) here, serial number 5CD0170XC9 (zero's could be O's but I can't be sure) with very intermittent power on, and i'm all out of ideas with it so taking a punt on it being a BIOS issue.
Can anyone provide a fixed/updated BIOS for the attached dump please?
Thanks,
Alan...

That was fast, thank you.
Just flashed this, but now unit powers on for 20 secs, then goes off...no keyboard backlight, no display, no fan spin, and no charge light...same results with or without battery connected.
Any ideas why that might be?
Previously was turning on and charging - just had the BIOS lock password.....

Hi,
I have a Prodesk 400 G6 here which was turned off mid BIOS update aparently and so is now bricked (when powered on, no action beyond HP logo. BIOS dump attached.
Product code is 123U8ET#ABU and serial number is 8CC1340B7X.
If anyone can help with a fix that would be marvellous.
Thanks,
Alan...

Thanks very much! Unfortunately this turned out not to be a BIOS issue. In their infinite wisdom, Lenovo added a foam surround on the bottom of the CPU cooler which seems to absorb any airborne moisture and corrode the capacitors on top of the CPU. There are several videos about it on YouTube like the one I've linked in case anyone else comes across this issue.

I have and Acer here (SN NXGY9EK0198500A0243400 and SNID 85004099634) with board DG5JV LA-G021P Rev 1C.
It's unresponsive to the power button, no display or power LED when pressed, but weirdly, when I remove or insert a RAM module, the fan spins up and power LED illuminates, but only for a few seconds and the laptop dies again.
Hoping it's a BIOS issue - dump of current BIOS attached if someone can work their magic on it
Thanks very much as always....

I have an Ideapad 3 here which has the information sticker removed from the base of the laptop, so I have no idea what the actual model and serial number are...all I know is it's an Ideapad 3. It won't turn on so I can't get the info that way either unfortunately.
Basically, the current issue is that it gives 6 white LED flashes from the power button when you reset the BIOS - can't see any indications of anything more serious so hoping it's a BIOS issue. I've attached a dump of the chip...hoping someone can work some magic on it...
The board model is GS452/G552/GS752...

HP Envy 13-BA1565na with intermittent power button
Hope someone can give me some suggestions on this because i'm at my wits end with it...
I have an Envy 13-BA1565na here with an Intel Core i7 i7-1165G7 CPU (board is a LA-J475P Rev 1.0) which has an intermittent power button issue. The power button is integrated into the keyboard, and I have ruled out the keyboard, BIOS and battery as being the issue.
Basically, on mains power, the power button works fairly well. The first time you come to it after leving it sitting (either on charge or not on charge), it might take 2 or 3 presses of the button, but then the laptop boots...

Scrap that. This one doesn't blink twice and the pause...the battery light just blinks slowly and constantly. Does the same whether the battery is connected or not so I assume that rules out a battery issue.. I also out of curiosity tried another BIOS from this forum for the same model, but I get the same result. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Fault is still present...as soon as you leave the laptop for more than half an hour, the laptop fails to power on from battery. Sometimes after 20 or so button presses it will come on, and then once powered off again, it will power on again reliably for a few minutes. Then back to the same pattern. I'm fairly certain it's not a physical button thing because like I say, once it's been on, it turns on first time every time...only when left for a while does the problem return. Could this be an issue with the EC BIOS rather than the main BIOS?

Thanks, but same issue remains unfortunately! Found the attached video with the same exact fault on a similar model which does suggest a BIOS issue...very frustrating! What the blinking White Battery light really means. in this case, Asus Vivobook F1603Z.

Asus Vivobook M7600Q BIOS fix needed
I have a Vivobook here which appears to power on (white LED comes on) but no display on the screen or via HDMI out. Battery LED flashes too.
Model number is M7600Q, serial MCN0CX01P069489.
Dump file attached. Any help would be much appreciated....

Thank you - problem remains with the original battery but seems to work at the moment on the replacement battery. It's very weird...will continue testing and post back in case anyone else encounters the same issue.
