Acer Aspire XC-840 BIOS needed
Hi All,
I have an Acer XC-840 here which powers on but no display - this is apparently following a batch of Windows Updates.
I've attached the contents of the original BIOS chip here...serial number for the device is DTBH4EK001246006C93000. Board model is JULIAN_JSL 348.OF903.0011.
Can anyone assist with repair of this BIOS at all please?
Thanks,
Alan...

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY BIOS password removal is possible!
Could someone assist in removing the BIOS password from this binf file? I've tried and failed to follow the guides regarding AMITSE decryption so may well be barking up the wrong tree!
Laptop is an ASUS FX505DY - bin file attached.
Thanks for reading!...

ASUS ROG G513IE BIOS needed - board model G513-6050A3249301-MB-A03(A3)
Hi,
If anyone can help with a BIOS for this laptop it would be greatly appreciated (I even promise a forum donation!) - basically after battery removal, I powered on and got a brief flash of a message about making a recovery BIOS USB (which I have tried multiple times, to no avail) but then just a black screen. Since attempting a BIOS recovery, I don't even now get that brief message, so whether it did actually start trying to update or not I'm not sure, but nothing appeared on screen at any point.
I've now removed the chip from the board and taken a dump file from it...3 PhotosLast edited by themosttogain; 12-08-2023, 04:32 PM.

BIOS required for Acer Apire 5 A515-47 (LA-M214P)
Not entirely convinced a BIOS will help here yet...symptoms are with charger and battery connected I get 5 blinks of the power LED (which apparently means dead battery), but with the battery removed and after numerous attempts to drain residual power and reset the BIOS, the laptop won't turn on on mains power only either (no blinks...just completely unresponsive).
Probably going to order a new battery just in case for some reason these only boot with a good battery connected, but all evidence I find suggests these should boot on mains power alone.
I've saved a dump...
