    Jvc lt-50e73

    Hi friends.
I have this TV for repair, everything worked, only sound not. Audio amplifier cirquit is workind,if i touched on input pins,i hear noise comming form speakers. I found somewhere that this TV have problems with corrupted firmware so tried to flash firmware found on net with the same LCD number. From this time,TV is not working anymore, at start,it only blinks with JVC logo, only fraction of second, blue led stay on and nothing..the same behavior is now also with original dump. I thried to erase flash chip first(fill with #FF),then flashing,no change.. Flash chip is ok,i can write, read, verify content with programmer, all cables are connected,i see no signs of cold solder connection under microscope, nothing is looking bad. So,question is,can this be some problem with firmware or i broke something else maybe?

    TV model: JVC LT-50E73
    Board number: msdv3223-zc01-01
    flash chip (U6) : 25Q64BSIG
    panel : V500-HK1-PS6

If you shine a light at the lcd screen, can you see any image? It sounds like you have a failed backlight

fester are you trying to say everything except sound is working. In other words there is picture, menu command probably working, able to switch inputs but no sound from the speakers and the test you did proved the Audio amp to be working? Is this correct??

No,i lost picture when i reflashed fw. Dont know if audio is now working because i see nothing on the screen, cant test it but amplifier electrically is ok . TV also react to IR remote - LED is blinking. I will try it with flashlight tomorow, will see if is panel completely without picture or only backlight missing.

Are you sure you used the correct firmware? Were you flashing the firmware to correct the no audio problem?

There look to be two plugs with two wires each that feed the backlight (Con5, Con2), measure the voltage on each wire while turning on the tv. Do this for both backlight connectors.
On one pin you will likley get 100-140 volts (guess) on the other you should get 10 - 20 volts (guess) if you get the 100-140 but 0 volts on the other pin it is likely an open led string

i have voltage spikes on both connectors, max value what i see on multimeter is arround 90V. if i disconect one connector,no matter which one,the same behavior, only short blink of backlight.

Voltage spike on ALL 4 of the LED connector pins?

You need to use chassis GND and the ref. GND for the meter.
Please repeat the test on all 4 pins by leaving the probes in place while keeping an eye on the meter during TV powered on to see how high the Voltages go up to for each pin.

maybe simple reset, unplug tv wait about a minute hold power button in on tv for about 30 seconds then try it, did you try a firmware update?

Okay. The firmware needs some kind of external flasher I guess? Atleast the USB update with the file mentioned on this topic did not work via USB.

                                          Hello, I'm stuck in troubleshooting…
The flash system works like that : when the (mechanic) flash button is pressed, the flash mecanically pop up, and a circuit buck boost elevate 7v (batt) to 200-300v (?) for charging the big capacitor. And when the photo shoot button is pressed, the capacitor is discharged in the xeon light.

In the D800, there is a first « power board » close to the battery. 2 wires (batt 7v) goes to another little « flash board ». I measured 7v, so ok.
When I press the flash button, it's detected by the system, flash icon appear on LDC display....

This is my first post here, and i would like to share with you a small story in case you can help me.

Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.

All ports work , USB , Ethernet, Type C ... but HDMI + Display Port don't work

I searched on reddit and google for problem similar to that, and a LOT of people had fixed this problem by updating the firmware. So i tried , i searched and found 1.1.13 utility and 1.1.20 utility that can help...

                                          Ubiquiti firmware help. US-8-150W POE
                                          by gurj1979
                                          Hi guys.

I've got a Ubiquiti US-8-150W POE switch which has issues with updating the firmware.
Turned out to be a bad EEPROM chip. It would read the firmware and work as normal, but failed to write new firmware to it.

So I took off the chip and read on EEPROM and saved it. Wrote to old chip and failed to write
Got New chip and writes good.

                                          THE PROBLEM...
It fails to fully load the firmware, POE lights fail to work during g firmware test during load. I'm suspecting bad EEPROM Read.

Does anyone have a Good Firmware I can have?...

                                          Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 with board DA0LS3MBAF0 Rev:F. I’ve run into an unusual issue where USB-C PD is stuck at 4.7–5V and the system won’t boot (keyboard lights flash briefly, then nothing).
🔥 The Problem Started After Suspected ESD/PD Fault
I experienced a power issue or ESD event through a USB-C charger
After that, the NX20P5090 power switch was visibly burned and was replaced
Now the PD controller always negotiates 5V @ 2A, even with known-good chargers

Hello I've had somebody bring in one of these charming little cameras to attempt retrieving data from the internal 32GB flash.
Something is damaged inside the cameras lens assembly I can hear it clunking around and it has probably dislodged the sensor, powering up the camera gives a blank screen and the focus motor sounds like it's having a fit.
The camera will not connect to a computer via USB in this state, I have no options no navigation, just power up and focus/zoom motor noises.

I think my best shot is to figure out a way to read the internal flash memory outside...
