    Blinking 10x Philips 32PFL3008K/12 - VESTEL 17MB95-2.1 and 17IPS19-5 17IPS19-5P V.1

Hi, I have Philips LED TV 32PFL3008K/12 that blinks 10 times and doesn't turn on.
It is cheapo VESTEL made TV.

I measured all the diodes on power supply, some voltages and they are ok, I suspect mainboard - but there are so many variants of firmware so I need some help to find right one.

    There are NAND 28F1G08ABAEA (U13) and 25L1606E (U10)
LCD Panel is VES315WNDB-01 (more info on sticker)

Can I maybe reflash NAND from USB?
    I can also write on 25L1606E - I have TL866A programmer

What made you guss Main bd. Did you do any voltage measurements, etc??

      Yes, on main connector PL200:
      PIN 5 24V
      PIN 7 12V
      PIN 11 5V
      PIN 15 3.2V
      PIN 17 0V
      PIN 19 24V

PL501 (LCD Supply) 24V is OK

Also whole system takes about 12W from wall (I have Power meter)

      PL201
      PIN 1 3.2V
      GND OK
      24V OK

From what I see here your Main Bd. is working. I didn't see a pin labeled PS-ON, but I am guessing here that this is working as the other PSU derived voltages are present. On the other hand you could be right as the software could be corrupt and causing the no-start-up issue. Did you test the backlights to see if they are faulting the system?

I think that this ST_BY have role of PS-ON

I think its pin 17, ST_BY active low.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Yes, I think so too. Any testing of the Backlights?

so, ground the signal down to see what will happen?

No. From what I interpret the Red ad Black wires go to the backlights directly from the PSU. Is this correct??

With the set off connect the RED probe of the DMM to the red wire and the BLACK probe to the chassis GND. Turn on the set and record your findings. Take the set off and attach the RED probe of the DMM to the black wire and the BLACK probe to the chassis GND. Turn on the set and record your findings. Report your findings.

                        On red wire:
When I tries to turn on TV voltage is ramping to 46.3V and alowly goes down to 0V
                        On black wire:
Ramping to 100V and slowly goes down to 0V

That's 53.7V difference between them. Looks OK, unless there is a shorting LED that is trying to pull a larger current and shutting down the LED Driver. Well you have another Main Bd. with Driver on the way. Try that and maybe it would work.

                              https://www.ebay.ie/itm/2-X-STRIP-LE...W/112676310576
Base on your panel model number provided, it looks like it has two LED strips with 22 LEDs total.
The supply Voltage went up to 100V (which is the maximum Voltage rating of the Boostconverter output filter caps C514, C515 which means the power supply is not seeing the load so it goes into OVP shutdown.
The Cathode return of the LED string goes to GND via PIN11 (LED 1) of the IC 500.
So it can be that the LED string has open circuit some where, or the LED 1 pin is not PWM on. Having the LED tester will be good to have at this point.

I'm stuck with this old TV unit.
                                        PSU: 17PW04-1
                                        MB: 17MB62-1
                                        Symptoms:
                                        - Blue LED constantly blinking when connected to AC.
                                        - Only sigh of life is beeping when touching the capactive buttons on the front.

                                        Diagnostics so far:
                                        Checked the PSU output voltages:
                                        12V present
5V present altought its only around 4.2V
                                        3V is present measured 3.4V.

I check TP 202 which is for the short circuit protection: 0.606V on diode mode

Since I met with some vestel models before with similiar symptoms...

                                        Aya A39FHD3901/2 - Vestel 17MB82 mainboard - LED blinking

                                        Hi there,

My mother in law gave me an Aya TV, to take a look if I could do something to repair it.

At startup, LED constantly blinks and no image is shown (even if I light the screen, broken backlight is not the problem), also +12V power rail is fine.

After some research, it seems that NOR flash often fails on this mainboard, I have found the procedure to force flash upgrading with a USB key connected to mainboard USB port, pressing "OK" button on the remote and plugging the TV power cord.

Flash upgrade didn't seem to work,...

good evening. I have this basic tv, with an all-in-one board. This tv has a common fault in the primary power area. the tv did not turn on. I bought a repair kit. I have installed all the parts of the kit, but now the tv turns on the standby light intermittently but does not start. the flashing is very fast. What can be? Does anyone know the model? Thank you

Philips 22PFL2908H/12 - Vestel 17MB62-1 - Possible to enable HDMI CEC?

I have this tv for which I'd like to enable HDMI CEC (EasyLink as Philips calls it) if possible.

The CPU/SoC should support it and I found about the possibility of customizing the TV behavior/functionality with the hardware and software profiles.

I also got serial access to the TV through the SCART connector (side note how do you dump the firmware through that port?)

I'm attaching everything I got about this TV: A zipped folder with various material like the profiles, a log of the boot process, a picture of the service menu, etc.; the service manual...
