Hi, I got Hisense LCD3233NEU that turns on but screen is just black with backlight - I wanted to diagnose if it is mainboard or T-CON, can I somehow set T-CON to display test pattern like in plasma TVs?
Strange that almost all power rails are correct but between 12V_A and GND_A there are 15.5V
I even reflashed small FLASH chip 25F40 but didn't helped - IDK if CPU is working or not.
How to determine if it is mainboard or T-CON?...

Here We go - there are 6 photos of parts of T-CON
There are main question - which chip is responsible of proper colors?
And second - is that AMLCD chip programmable? I can just buy some chips on aliexpress and just replace them, don't even trying to measure them...Leave a comment:

Hi, I searched forum for LE40D503F7W red image and didn't find solution.
I thought that this could be like a gamma IC/AS-15F etc.
But there are just 3 main chips on T-CON, that is not able to deattach from panel.
1. SM4109 - i don't know what that is - no normal Dataseet but this is some LCD chip
2. AMLCD LQF6041TOB-Q1 - also no dataseet but this is some LCD chip (i don't know is this chip programmable or something?)
(24c64 connected to AMLCD chip i think)
3. ISL24835 IRZ - some kind of buffer?
Wich of those chips can cause... -

This IC is pretty rare and hard to find / expensive.
I'm wondering if I can just send 12V by connecting VIN to HVIN? <devil>
But probably this is stupid idea

There is no short.
Can't find second fuse or something like that.
I did red arrows to show where that via is going.
This could be bad RT6921, or something in his area? Or could it be bad mainboard, that doen't communicate with that IC?...Leave a comment:

I tried only on left and right ribbon cable - same story on both, just backlight + dark screen.
Some measurements:
AVDD: 0.044V
HVIN_12V: 0.428V
B_INT_DCDC: 0.004V
VIN_12V: 12V
ICD2_VCC_1.8V: 1.8V
INV_V: 1.65V
FB_TRDY_3: 3.25V
FB_TRDY_1: 3.25V
FB_R: 0.004V
Definietly something wrong on HVIN - what can this cause? (EDIT: On last photo i did some black arrows, where that via is going)

Hi, I have Toshiba 40L3448DG, made by VESTEL, and backlight is ok, it normally operates by switches (turn on, turn off) but there is no picture on the screen.
Whole TV takes about 35W, I unplugged backlight and MB takes about 10W and normally turn on/off so I think this is working properly.
Fuse on T-CON is ok, i tried to find shorted cap on it - but all seems to be ok.
Any ideas?... -

One more question - what is IC801 (UBA2071AT) on the bottom of PSU, this is for backlight?

Can I test this IC somehow? Or just replace with new one?
Didn't helped - I measured them and both have good capacity and ESR
C943 0.00V
C946 - when I plug TV to wall there are 2.38V and slowly dropping to 0.00V (like a capacitor discharge)
Yes, it is double diode D917 - both diodes are good

I can't - because standby need to have standby volatage to power standby mode

0.4V but in dead mode

0.33 Ohm - measured 0.4 so it's fine (I have pretty crappy DMM)

Fuse OK, 330V on big filter capacitor
There are transformer (with sharpy I made where goes windings)
On primary there are 330V both sides of windings
On secondary on one side is " - " and nothing is going on.

On every pin are exactly 0.00V - so I think it isn't even in standby mode, also pressing button makes nothing change (there are touch panel, so I guess it isn't working at all because there aren't any voltage)...Leave a comment:

Hi, I have LCD TV Philips 47PFL4606H/12 - there are any voltages on power supply.
I chcecked fuse and it is OK, bridge rectifier (there are 330V DC), diodes, transistors and everything is ok - why PSU doesn't start at all? Maybe driver to produce voltages is bad? How to check that IC?
Whole system drives 0.8W from wall adapter

I couldn't fall asleep - one LED was burned open, I installed LED from other TV and now everything is working fine
