I Have A Rca 65" led hd TV Model # LED65G55R128Q
Turned Tv Off ...Now When I Turn Back On Screen Flashes On Then Off
You Can Hear Sound & See Picture When It Flashes On
Have Tried The Factory Reset Of Unplugging set & Then Hold Power for 1 min.
The Plug Set Back In While Still Holding Power Button
Now Set has Input Screen Flashing Then Black Screen I Have Tried To
Change Input Back To HDMI 1 With Remote To See If I Still Have Sound & Picture For Brief Flash But Can Not Change Input With Remote Now
I Have Not Taken Apart Yet Was Wondering If Any One Had Run Across
This With RCA Before.

probably a bad LED in the backlight strings. Measure the DC voltages between each LED string, while the LED's are on.

Would he hook the volt meter negative lead to chassis ground in order to measure DC Voltages on each LED String? what would be the typical voltages on the strings? would a different voltage on a particular string indicate that one of the LEDs is bad? this is my brothers TV and he hasn't had a chance to remove the back yet for troubleshooting, I'm trying to gather as much information as possible to help him figure out the problem. any help anyone can give is appreciated. Thanks.

We need good CLEAR WELL FOCUSED showing the pictures of the whole board and the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards so we can see what we are dealing with.

I think the model number is LED65G55R120Q he said there is a bracket in the way covering up the 0 so it looks like it was an 8
