Sony KDL-42W705B green and amber led

Hello!

My Sony KDL-42W705B got a broken tcon and I replaced it. After powering on with new tcon board, led started to flash green and amber/orange. I read that it would like to have a firmware update. Made a USB stick with latest firmware but how do I update my TV when I can't get any picture to it?

Or is it something else what I need to do than fw update?

What symptom were you experiencing that you decided to replace the T-CON Bd. I see you say 'broken'. Does that mean it was in pieces??

First I got vertical lines to picture and after few weeks I lost picture completely. Audio was still working and backlight also.

I have same problem,just downloaded firmware from sony website ,formated usb stick NTFS,copied file on the root of usb stick.

put usb stick to TV usb port and turn on tv,wait about 15 min till light on tv is white.

and still no picture just sound .
