LG 47LX6500 T-Con or panel vertical Bars

I have a 47 LX 6500. It has solid bars going vertical the mainboard seems to respond the two remote functions but menu or input doesn't change anything on the screen just stays the same. I do have audio. I can't find any info on repairing this t-con and it's a very expensive t-con I don't want to order it just to try it out. From the pictures does it look like panel or t-con. I'm pressing on the tab bonds changes nothing.

have you disconnected half of the t-con to see if you can get half of a good pic?

I disconnected each side all I get is black and white alternates the sides I never get a video pick. That's why I thought it was the t con and not the panel

Anyone else think it's the panel. When I disconnect one of the cables I forget which side I got half black half white none of the vertical bars and the other cable disconnected I think I had vertical bars on the side that should be showing the picture. Has anyone ever repaired one of these T cons it's a size of a mainboard has an LG XD chip on it they want over $100 on eBay for one

do the lines change position when you put the menu up, or change channel or volume?

Yeah the bars do change it's not the same all the time price menu input Channel up and down excetera

Microvibe please write well, it's already difficult for non english language people.. no commas, shortcuts etc.. try to find correct voltages on tcon, watch the dc-dc converters, follow some other threads.. search terms like avdd, vcom , vghc, vgl...

I would suggest you purchase the T-con board from a company that allows returns. If it doesn't work, at least you will know for sure, and you can always send it back minus what ever shipping fee and restoccking fee they charge. Generally 15% or 20% at most.
If you end up recycling the set, let me know, I would be interested in purchasing the main board from you.

Nick beware, i have a 46 led Philips that starts with good Philips logo, then garbled graphics and vertical bars and it stabilizes in a vertical bars pattern, i suspect cpu soldering since it have changes warm/cool, tomorrow i receive the new mainboard after a failed reflow (too much heat)..bye.

I don't get any normal picture no menu or nothing . Just vertical bars

i am leaning to t-con on this one, but i am no expert. this is where a scope would be very handy. check the input and output from the t-con.
