Re: Toshiba 40ft1u blows fuse
I found. A match for vs 101 I installed it. Put in a new fuse and the TV's working fine. Thanks for your guys's help. Much appreciated

Re: Toshiba 40ft1u blows fuse
If I connect a light bulb across the fuse. Can I test the TV with vs. 101 removed? Or does that littelfuse need to be there? I can't find anything matching on the boards I have here.

Re: Toshiba 40ft1u blows fuse
I have the other boards disconnected. Still blows up fuse instantly. So the short has to be on the coldside I'm not sure where to start testing and what the values or for things. The green disc beside the power connector Is that supposed to show closed Or have some resistance. ?

Toshiba 40ft1u blows fuse
I have a Toshiba 40 FT1 U. It was hit with a power surge. And the fuse blew. When I install a new fuse and plug it in and it blows instantly. I can't find any shorts on the mosfet or Bridge rectifier Maybe someone can take a look at the power board And has an idea where to test for shorts....

Panasonic Th-42px75u top half white washed
I have a th-41pc75u top half screen washed out can see menu etc vaguely in the whitewashed top half and fine in bottom half. Tv shuts off after few seconds 7 blinks. I disconnected one of the panel ribbons for top half tv will stay on still white washed except for the disconnected ribbon thats black. I tested the su board but cant find a short maybe tested wrong. In the sc board i did notice the white ceramic 2.2k ohm is burnt would this cause this issue or is it still buffer issue....

Re: Philips 55pfl5505d/f7 blinking light
I have 8 of these transformers. If i am testing them right 5 out of the 8 have at least one secondary winding open. Is that even possible and backlights still come on? I know each tube was being lit up....

Re: Westinghouse wg55ur4100 no response
Jumping all 3 to stby worked for backlights. So guess need find main board unless possible to trace where issue on main is.

Re: Philips 55pfl5505d/f7 blinking light
Wouldnt video be produced before or same time the backlights come on. Backlights stay on few seconds never a logo or picture.
