Re: Samsung pn43d450a2dxza firmware update
I downloaded the update mentioned and the TV does not recognize it. I downloaded the file form the link above and unzipped it to USB. On the USB I get 2 folders T-MST4DEUC and T-MSV4DEUC. When I stick the USB in the TV does not find an upgrade.
I also found an old You Tube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnOtcjs3snU) that shows how to download a firmware upgrade from the Samsung site. But that does not work either since the Samsung site has changed and the firmware upgrade is no longer available. Is the firmware upgrade no longer recommended since it was taken down. I have heard of TVs not working after firmware upgrades.Comment

Re: Samsung pn43d450a2dxza firmware update
They take them off their sites, not sure why, I think it's because they would rather have you buy another tv from them than give you the option to fix it with a simple firmware load. Could try contacting them, tell them you need the firmware, has worked for some.Comment

Re: Samsung pn43d450a2dxza firmware update
I tried the Samsung tech support but they say there is no update for this TV. Maybe there was an issue with the update and it got taken down. I will just hope the TV works a few more years then I will get another one when the boards fail again.Comment

by rumpumpel1Lenovo System Update offered me an update for the firmware of the Folio keyboard for my X12 Detachable Gen 1. The update got stuck and after 20 minutes I switched off the laptop. Since then, the keyboard and touchpad have been without function. Does anyone know how I can revive it?10-24-2024, 08:59 AM

by dkneyleDiagnosed this TV as having a failed main board which I've replaced with one from a KDL 55HX850. They are (supposedly) the same board.
Being 'Smart TV' it requires a firmware reboot when you swap out boards such as T-Con or main board. It starts with a black screen and flashing yellow and green LEDS, indicating it needs that firmware boot. The procedure described all over the web is to put the software into the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive and it should load that up once plugged into USB1 port. But not for me. I can see the LED on the USB chip flash for about... -
by MireniaHi everyone,
I've got a Samsung UEMU6199U which has no Standby LED and no reaction if try turning it on.
Voltages on the power supply board is okay. Backlight test is also okay.
I read about a corrupt firmware on IC1604 on some models, did a dump of this IC and turns out: First sectors are empty.
So I think my TV has exactly this issue.
Can someone please fix the dump?
And how do you do that?
As I understand you fill in the empty sectors and leave the rest as it is. But where do you get the "information" of what you... - Loading...
