    I'd guess the mainboard has a short and pulls down the standby voltage.

    Plug the tv in for a few minutes, then unplug. touch a few of the components on the main board. See if anything is too hot to touch.

          Hi,I'd check the connector on the power supply and the flat cable to the main board.

          Quite often you'll find the body of the connector yellowish, so the cure is to replace both

          of them.

              Measure voltage both sides of the fuse on the tcon.

                    You measured both sides ? Is there continuity across the fuse ?

                        Regardless to the T-CON board, do you get the backlights to come on?
                        It sounds like defective new main board to me if ALL the power supplies Voltages are OK.

                        "Ok just replaces the mainboard now the board does not draw the 5.3v away so that's good and the mainboard gets power tested a couple points but still no standby light or anything"
                        The key point is that you are not even getting the Standby light with the replacement main board.

                          BUT in this case the STAND BY light comes on only when tcon gets power correct?
                          So the replacement board has an issue most likely cause the tcon not getting and voltage from mainboard not even by the fuse?
                          And what are the chances that the ribbon cable from mainboard to tcon is bad?
                          Anything else to chk or just return board to seller?
                          Thanks

                            Standby light is for telling you the TV is not on and it is in standby mode. You will have to look up the user manual for your model to see if that light in front is for power on indicator or standby indicator.
                            Also you are not telling us if you ALL the Voltages from the power supply and the backlights or not with your new board when you turn on the TV with the remote or with the switch on the TV..

                                Sounds like your supposedly good replacement board is no good and we already know that the power supply board is good.

                                  Sounds like your main board is bad. You can try to reflow the main IC on the main board. If that is a replacement board, send it back. It's bad.

                                    What voltages do you have on Power ON/OFF Pin 14 of CNM803 and also on BLU On/Off Pin 6 of CNM803 when you in standby and when you try to come out of standby.

                                          This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.

                                          Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today....

                                          I have no standby indicator light and no light on the optical port. I checked the standby voltage on the two mosfets in the top left and they both read 30mV. I checked the fuse and it has continuity. I also checked the voltage on the two large 450v caps they both read 153v. All of these voltages are the same with and without the main board connected as well as with backlights connected/disconnected.

                                          Nothing looks obvious like a burned ceramic disc cap or bulged electrolytic. No burned resistors, diodes, or anything like that....

                                          Good day, instead of Q0165R I mistakenly put 24C256 (don't ask me how) and made a short circuit. After I put Q0165R I don't have stand by voltage again. There is no voltage on the cold side. I found the schematic.

                                          I checked a few things but didn't find anything. When I checked the DB802 diode, it showed a short circuit, but when I unsoldered one leg, it looked fine, and I still have a short circuit on its contacts. On the other side of the board, I have DZB801 also shorted, but it is SOT23, so I didn't remove it, do you think it could be connected to it? Could there be some protection...

                                          Hello,
                                          I have a problem with this TV, the standby voltage is not present. I have checked the components around the IC fsq510's area and they seem to work, also replaced this IC but the problem persists.
                                          These are the voltages in some pins of IC fsq510:
                                          Vcc=18v
                                          D=320v
                                          Vstr=154v
                                          Unfortunately, I couldn't find the schematic
                                          What else could I check?
                                          Is it possible to provide standby voltage from an external source to allow the TV to turn on?
                                          Thank you...
