Which regulator are u referring to on the smp or the mainboard im a bit lost sorry
I have no standby light and i can see the red light inside the digital out going on and off all the time

Hey guys is there a way i can manually jump the tv to start up cause i think its not starting up and this model does not hv the red led light on standby when its off thats why the tcon not getting voltage

And on pin 14 5.3v and pin 6 12.52v when i hit power button on remote voltage doesn't change

Ok wn i press power button on remote no lights come on in front and no power drop on the standby pin 5v and no power on fuse on tcon board either.
This model has no power button the side its a touch model and all the pins on smp are correct the 13v and the 5v all are correct on the pins and wn i remove cable from mainboard to smp backlight comes on fine

BUT in this case the STAND BY light comes on only when tcon gets power correct?
So the replacement board has an issue most likely cause the tcon not getting and voltage from mainboard not even by the fuse?
And what are the chances that the ribbon cable from mainboard to tcon is bad?
Anything else to chk or just return board to seller?

Fuse is good have continuity but seems like no voltage coming across from mainboard to tcon but this is a new board i just bought off ebay and was told it was tested and working fine

Cables are fine mainboard getting power now than with old main board tested on main board and i get the 5v stanby but i guess might be tcon board now need to be replacesLeave a comment:

Ok just replaces the mainboard now the board does not draw the 5.3v away so thats good and the mainboard gets power tested a couple points but still no standby light or anything

Hi guys hope i can get some help here with this samsung tv
I wasnt getting any voltage output and no standby light so replaced the power supply board and now i get standbt voltage on the pins and wn remove the connector from mainboard to power supply back light comes on but wn i plug back connector the standby voltage goes to 0 backlight goes off and black screen wn i test the main board side no voltage coming in
What do you think can be the prob? -

Ok guys here's an update i removed the tcon and i applied heat with my hot air over some of the ic and smd caps around the area wr there is voltage an booommm tv comes on within 3 secondsthe only thing is it comesd on with logo smarttv then goes off for a second but then comes back on right away and working fine tested for a couple hours playing something on it and np only the 2nd startup got me a little puzzled but i guess i can live with that unless there's a fix for that.

Fuse is good tcon has led light that comes on wn i press power button tv actually comes on just that it take close to 1 minute at times and then sometimes10 to 15 secondsLeave a comment:

Ok led panel connector off of tcon and tcon nonnector back into mainboarf and the same long sequence to startup so it definately something with the tcon right?
Has to be a leakage but the are more smd parts on it anything i can chk on tcon that can prob be the cause?Leave a comment:

Ok did that backlight stay on np constantly.
then i reconnect the mainboar back to smp backlight goes off then i remove tcon connector to mainboard tv powers on and off with remote i can see backlight goes off and on in about 6 blinks of led light in front it works normal with start up time i think just no pic because of tcon disconnected .

Here is an update the red light stays constant wn i power on light take after 40 blinks to come on then wn i power off and put back on after about 5 to 7 blinks it comes on there has to be a leakage somewhere in voltage the qurstion is where mainboard /tcon or smp?

Here is an update very strange when i first start testing the tv the led was blinking replaced with the new board then i ahad that issue where i took off tcon connecter and put on then tv comes on.
Now i just replaced the caps on the old smp red light stays constant when i power on from remote after 6 blinks tv comes on

Ok those pins have4.4 pin2 2.3v pin4 3.2v pin6 and pin8 0
So i think thats where the prob is cause on the board says they should have 13v too
No caps look swollen but will start testing the main caps
