A board is OK; tested on another TV it works perfect. is it possible to have a SS board problem?

SS board failure is rare, but can happen

Yep, that can do it, but what was blown? Any buffers shorted? And no 7 blink?

            Yes, no shorts and no 7 blinks; maybe it was something in the upper chip and the whole screen was bloked;

now... for the ST60... I did not reveive the 42" board, but I found a board from a 50ST60B; it's an UK model, and I was wondering if it has dvbc... so... if someone knows something... on the other hand I found a 50GT60 board that I can fit in the TV as the housing is the same... I don't know what to do.

Again, no photos and very little "Technical" info. How about part numbers, version suffix and images? What does a GT have that a ST may not that may trigger a SOS? Eg Fans or Speakers?

Tough gig this, hard to find manuals too. The GT is a different board print. It may bolt it and it looks like it will have similar connections, some in different postions though so what about the faceplate and also the LAN port is in a different spot so it that is a hole pressed out in the rear panel that won't line up. Sometimes the holes are there but they use different stickers to cover up one that are redundant.

The UK board has me interested in the tuner setup? Can't say I've seen that twin connection before which yours has. I'd be leaning towards finding te right one or one from the same region , different size and swapping some eeproms .

I found another board from a 42" but the seller cannot tell me the suffix or anything about it... he's a farmer . it's 50 euros...

                      Hi everyone!
I happened several times, in the search for help from the web, to consult this very interesting forum.
So I decided to sign up and I intend to participate actively by making available my knowledge and experience on the subject, I'm a new user but at the same time I'm old in the sense that I have 4 decades of experience in repairing and designing electronics but above all I'm a great passionate about the subject.

Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.

I picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.
                      I have...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
                      by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing herešŸ¤”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting šŸ˜‚.

                      USB problems?
                      by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...
