    LG 50PJ350 turns off by itself! This is how my wife fixed the right way.

    LG 50PJ350 turns off by itself! about 20min -30min, sometimes happen right away!

    After Ive read all this, I am more confused!!!

    LG 50PJ350 turns off by itself! This is how my wife fixed the right way.

    I told her, maybe is the IC301 or the diode? I tested all day every-time when TV shutdown i am doing something else....

    First: She used hair dry heat the suspected place with.
    Second: She use AirWick Air Freshener Spray cool down the area, TV shutdown right away...........YES, it was the 3BR1565.

    PS: Recommend at least use DUSTOFF, I hate air freshener's smell.....

      Using the evaporation of rubbing alcohol to cool a component can work, too.

          Do you mean perfume or Vodka! ...Yes, rubbing alcohol with A swab is kinda danger if you drop liquid on live tv modules........

              I have a huge spray can of residue less cleaner I use on radio tuning capacitors. It leaves frost when it evaporates.

                      most air fresheners etc use butane as the propellant - it's not a good idea spraying onto something hot!!

                          Oh! I forget about the butane C4H10, it is pretty safe, if you use at absolute zero environment.

                                  that is a expensive contact cleaner! as I can't afford so i use WD40 as A contact cleaner which leave oily residue smell like kerosene and did the jobs.

                                  MY TIPS: After change 3BR1565, you do need put some heat sink compound, a white thermal paste, I hate it, white stain mess everywhere. I sub with this( PIC 1,2), original use for car transmission, which i used in CPU processor and Xbox GPU ......for about 20 years still has some left.

                                      Hello everybody,
                                      I got HP ProBook 455 G7 which originally turned on partially(fans on 100%) and hen off after 8 seconds, with AC diode flashing orange and last flash white. This behaviour stayed for a while, but before I realised that there is power delivery issue and not BIOS problem, laptop started to automatically turn on after 2 seconds when in turned off, kept power cycling. So after I fixed shorted cap and burned ferrite bead, laptop turned on fine and booted to windows.

                                      Now, laptop can be turned off and it stays like that... unless you plug adapter again, which triggers...

I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...

                                      I am testing an old LG L192WS-BN monitor I have that gives an image, but has a backlight issue. When you turn it on the backlight turns on 1 second and it turns off, turns on again, 1 second and it turns off and stays off. Using a flashlight I can see there's still an image.

                                      I replaced a bulged cap on the main board, but made no difference. I also got another exact same model monitor that has a broken ccfl (the connector got ripped from the panel and the main screen connector is also broken so I can't use this panel to test), tried using the main board from this one, same issue....

                                      good morning, I have a samsung UE55F8000SZ tv that turns on, shows the logo and turns off after 1-2 seconds.
                                      This defect happens continuously, hearing the classic click of the relay every time.

                                      Power supply board BN44-00636B

                                      disconnecting the mains and lamps from the power board always causes the same problem.
                                      Is it normal that without anything connected this power supply turns on and off cyclically?
                                      any suggestions on what to check?
