    panasonic tx-p42gw30S SN board problem

    Hello there.
Yesterday I bought this TV for a good price, and the seller told me that it goes into steady green and has no image.
After a first test, I discovered the SN board shorted. so... I removed the power cable from the SN board, and surprise, 7 red blinks after. After the sc20 removal, it had 8 blinks, so I guess that the A board is fine.
My question is... why it goes into steady green with the SN shorted?! Did someone else had this situation? For me it's a strange thing.

Yes, on a TNPA5351 in a P50U30A. It is mentioned in some of the guides as possible, assume you have 4 shorted 30F131?

keeping in mind we have green flashing , solid green startup running , red solid standby.

So sub green solid, no blink for the second note.

Red Solid LED (No Blink): LSI error. This condition is triggered when the power supply SOS-detect-signal is triggered during the startup process.

        hello
yes, 4 shorted, but they are dg301, not 30f131. I am out of stock, but they are on the way to me. I ordered some FGD's, regardinng the 30f131 fake issue.

Are you going to use the FGD's in place of the dg301's?

I can NOW confirm that a FGD4635 can sub for a DG302. I did one this morning and it's still running after 7 hours. I also used four of them to replace the usual four igbt's.
              Hope this helps!!!

Today I got a 43" Samsung plasma for $20. It had the 4 shorted ibgt's on the x main. I used the FGD4536's in place of the RJP30H1DPD. Tv is working 6 hours later.
                    I love these things!!!!

The tv is still working as it should. Got to love the FDG's for only 50 cents a piece!

FDG's are alot more reliable tbh than the 30F etc series from what Ive seen.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

                            Hi to all,
the owner of this machine gave it to me after having opened it to take off the dust from the inside, telling me that after that it didn't start anymore.
I found that one of the DrMOS (AOZ5016QI) on the CPUCORE was shorted between VIN and VSWH, and that one of the two n-mos connected to the power jack was shorted aswell.
I unsoldered the two shorted components and verified that there were no other short circuits, then decided to power the mainboard, firstly with the lab power supply, then with its original HP 200w charger, but the behaviour is the same, the board starts...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                            by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

                            After all of...

Hi every one. I just want to share the successful repair of my shorted Panasonic TNPA4782AB SC board.

I don't usually do it but so many parts were shorted that I decided to buy the ShopJimmy repair kit instead of sourcing each components individually. Here is the list of components the kit contained, with a remark indicating if I needed that part or not :

                            D608, good
                            D618 RF101L4S, good (See warning 1 below)
                            D619 RF101L4S, good (See warning 1 below)
                            D865 RF101L4S, shorted (See warning 1 below)

Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...
