    Re-assembling Element FLX-3211B for testing

Previous owner went inside the unit and left the cable to the T-Con board disconnected. I wanted to reconnect everything so I can test voltages coming from the power supply board. I am assuming these voltages can only be measured on a fully assembled TV.

Looks like there's some damage to the port on the T-Con board.

I tried and tried and tried, but I could not get the connector seated correctly.

I get the funny feeling previous owner got a replacement T-Con board and found out it won't play nice.

Was really looking forward to testing since all the specified voltages were printed on the board.

How can I reconnect this cable?

The female connector on the T-CON is damaged, I do not know what else you can do, it looks the owner did not know how to properly disconnect the cable from the T-CON.

That metal shield is all bent and in the wrong position, the tabs (red) should be in the white plastic and the shiel (yellow) should be back further, then the plug should connect. You should be able to measure voltages on the power supply and main board even with the lvds cable disconected
