Hi guys. I have an LED tv with a strange problem that I have never encountered. When you turn on the tv, the screen comes up, then you get the no signal box appear and then the screen starts flashing, almost like a blinking LED. Would this be a bad LED strip or a power issue?

Re: RCA RLDEDV3988 picture flashing
Is it the backlight ? If so start with checking the Led drive voltage see if its fluctuating. You should know where to start by now.Last edited by ReeceyBurger123; 04-30-2016, 06:35 PM.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Re: RCA RLDEDV3988 picture flashing
I took apart the TV and tested the LEDs. I put about 30V on the +/- connector of each strip. All of the LEDs work, which surprises me because every other RCA I have taken apart is always the LEDs. It is late so I am done for tonight. Tomorrow I am going to test each strip for about 15 minutes too see if maybe some of them will blink after being on for a while.Comment

by maricmHI all,
hope someone point to the possible issue before I start buying replacement parts.
Tv starts normal and responds to remote fine, PSU voltages mesured fine 19v was 18.9V under load and 19V with main board disconnected.
Backlight stays on all the time,
Sound works fine.
screen keeps changing form black to full picture in about 1sec intervals.
Picture looks fine with no visible artifacts.
I have disconnected backlights and flashlight test confirmed that picture is still doing the same.

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
Have a Samsung UN50NU7400 which shows a boot screen and a screen saver if left on long enough but no picture ?
Would a moving screen saver confirm that the panel is ok or it could still be a panel issue ? -
by nasdaaHello, I need your help for a failure on a laptop:
It's a Packard Bell Kayf0, motherboard LA-5021P, Rev 1.0 with graphic issue.
I received this pc because it was turning on but not displaying anything, the fans are running normally and all chipsets heat up on startup but no picture on screen, no backlight either. I noticed that ENAVDD and ENVDD are not present and that there is no LCDVDD on the connector. I didn't check the screen because, maybe I'm wrong, but if there aren't these signals, even if the screen is good, it can't display anything? I tried heating the... - Loading...
