    Insignia solarized

I was given a Insignia NS-L46X-10A. It works fine for about an hour then the picture slowly solarizes. Takes about 2 hours to completely distort. Does anyone know what would cause this? I'm thinking T con but I've never had this happen. My experience has been solarized at startup. Thanks

Check and see how hot the Gamma IC gets to be too hot to touch, try cooling it with freeze spray, or use canned air duster upside down for cooling.
Does the Gamma IC have thermal transfer pad on top?

what gamma IC is on there? maybe you can post a high resolution, straight shot picture of your Tcon board with the rubber pads removed.

Tv has been on for 3 hours now but not completely solarized. You can see some barely. The IC has a thermal pad, but not hot at all.

handsworth, did you try replacing the T-con? I have the same problem. Curious if you were able to solve this problem. I'm tempted to try a t-con as well, but they are around $60-70.00 on ebay.
