Samsung PN64D7000 Plasma - Sound but no picture

Started occurring randomly and was fixed by unplugging power and replugging it back. Slow blinking green light from the logic board. Read a few of the threads online and changed out the Y Main board from a board I bought on Ebay. It worked fine for a 2 hour movie, but then I mounted the TV back on the wall, and it happened again the very next night. Before I but any other boards like the Y buffer or X main, I would like advice on troubleshooting that I can perform with my Meter with your guidance. I am a newb, but also understand the dangers of the voltage going through the box. Here are the pictures of the boards in the box and also of my meter. Is that set to the correct settings for measurement, and what sections of the board should I test for troubleshooting.

    Thanks Friends!

Sounds like a typical cracked solder joint if you ask me. Check the back of your power supply board, and both your Y and X-sustain.
Check all components, and heat sinks.

Just to follow up on this for anyone else experiencing the issue. I bought a new y main board from eBay; screen worked normally but then experienced same issue. Bought new power supply board from shopjimmy, and now it works again.

I agree Nick. I have fixed many mysterious issues by resoldering all major power passing devices on smps, y and x boards.

I had the same problem , it'. Was the voltage regulator on the PCb chucking out 7v instead of 13v. Replaced the reg and all was ok .

You need to check the Vson signal which tells the Psu to turn on the rails that drive the sustain boards.

Have the exact same problem. Anyone out there have some service manual or schematics you could share? Cannot find these anywhere. Replacing a regulator would be a wonderful trick, but need to narrow it down a bit in terms which regulator to check. The only service information I found so far is this
              http://www.toms-service-manuals.com/index.php?do=search&mfg=Samsung&modelsrch=PN64D7000FFXZA&typekey=0&Search=Submit

These are much better than nothing, but not quite detailed down to specific regulators.

              Thanks,
