    LG 50PB560B-UA Sound no video

Don't see anything wrong with any of the boards. The tv is very clean and has had very minimal use.

looking for some guidance or if someone has had the same problem with this particular tv.

    pics of all boards attached.

I have a multimeter but I do not know what I should be looking at.

also need another pic from the whole back side of the TV to see how everything is connected.

But having backlight and sound, but no picture... sounds awefully like a TCon board. So check it if it has proper voltage on both sides of the fuse(s).

Plazma, yes. Look at the Power Supply board, you can see Va and Vs test points labeled.

I was just confirming, as post 3 about t con fuse the op maybe looking for one that this set does not have ( its a easy mistake to make as i skim read threads too at times) im not sure on a lg if you can run the test patterns via the control board etc.

Due to the fact ive seen dozens of these sets im going to say faulty y-sus. Should be easy to repair as its probably failed the same as the all the rest.

yes plasma. sorry i forgot to ad that.

is the ysus built into the ybuffer on this board?

if so what part on this would I be replacing?

yes im pretty sure it is not sure what common parts go though maybe look for the board number on your ysus and look what parts are in the repair kits and start testing them.

Can you post the voltages for -vy and vsc.

Well that's a sparse looking plasma. The ysus is integrated with the buffers - or vice versa lol

I have one of these sets. I am sure the main board is bad. EBT62854104
The P.S. EAY63168601 has VS of 201 and VA of 55 and has the 5ndc and 17vdc. The P.S turns on with or without the M.B. attached. I did not see a PS-on command label on P.S. I wanted to make sure it works properly. T Control board EBR7714501 does not have a test pattern jumper that I can find or solder a jumper to, to be sure the panel is good.
How do I create a test pattern ?
                          thanks

I tried uploading pics from phone but no luck.
Do I jumper the two pads between IC704 and R451 and R452? Reference to the above pic of the control boad?
                            Thanks

I have the same model with sound no display. From the voltage reading i have done i think my problem is the z-sus board. The power supply voltages are good but the z-sus voltage are good except P132 pin 1 only reads 3.7v and it's mark 18V even when I disconnect the y-sus connector it still reads 3.7v

It's probably not your z sus that's at fault. Its the y-sus.
                                Take a picture of it.

I discounted connection P132 the runs to the y-sus board to see if it is pulling down the 18v on the P132 pin 1 but it still reads 3.7v. Which section of the z-sus board produces this 18v supply?
