I had this tv for a year and everything worked fine. Just recently it turned off and would not turn back on. When the tv was in working condition the power light would stay on red and when turned on the red light would blind and then turn green. Now that the power will not come on the light stays red. I did some research and that led us to replace the ir sensor board. I hit the power button and the tv came on. (thought I was done) However I shut the tv off and again it would not turn back on. So questioning what I did...I took the new ir sensor out and put the old back in and again the tv turned on but when turned off would not turn on again. Any suggestions?? Thanks

From the sound of it unplugging and plugging the tv back in is the trick to get the tv running but you have to do it every time.
Have you tried performing a factory reset on the tv? Have you checked for firmware updates? Honestly it sounds like a bad main, possibly bad EEPROM. What is the part number of the board you replaced and the main board part number?
Taking pictures of the circuit board will almost always help.
