I had this tv for a year and everything worked fine. Just recently it turned off and would not turn back on. When the tv was in working condition the power light would stay on red and when turned on the red light would blind and then turn green. Now that the power will not come on the light stays red. I did some research and that led us to replace the ir sensor board. I hit the power button and the tv came on. (thought I was done) However I shut the tv off and again it would not turn back on. So questioning what I did...I took the new ir sensor out and put the old back in and again the tv turned...

hello guys I am new here. I have a Magnavox 46me313v/f7 it quit working one day. I found online some info and some stuff to check. need less to say I got a IR sensor and I installed it. the tv turn on and work just fine but then when I turn the tv off it will not turn back on. I then took the ack off the tv and I found when I unplug the ir sensor and plug the old one back the tv will come back on but when the tv is turn off it will not turn back till you unplug the ir sensor.please help
