On the 2m scale I get a reading of 1.802. Please give me some information, like what is the correct name of this fuse, size (20) ?, and where do I get one. Somebody said they use a different type of fuse?

Can I short across it and see if the lights come on?

The current and Voltage rating is printed right on the board, 1A 76V, use higher Voltage rating is OK.

OK, if you all agree that is the thing to do, I will order some fuses. I will get some F2313-ND fuses and give it a try. I do want to thank each of you that assisted me in this repair.

Again, will it cause any problems if I short across the existing fuse to bring on the lights?

You can put a low value resistor (under 10 ohms 1/4watt) across to test and see if the lights come on, not a good idea to short it in case there is a short beyond a switched connection.
