yes i have a lot of the facebook selling sites etc, just cant find much being offered im nuneaton warwickshire so a small town but coventrys not far away, i will place a few more adds and see what i get offered the trouble is people think non working sets are worth stupid money buy the time you paid for them and repaired them no profit if i did sell them its hard to know what to offer people for faulty sets.Comment

Hmm, maybe create an add and just keep posting it. If not check ebay there is a tonne near your area for sale. Just need to watch how much you pay so that you at least make a profit, I dont know what the market for refurb Tv's is like in your area so cant really comment on that. In my area its boombing lol sold 2*'40" Led Tv's for £150 each tonight

Its a shame tbh that its coming to this with our crappy econ and cheap ass Tv's nower days. Cheers have you checked the stock list Diif on my site. I normally offer £10 off if people collect as I dont drive so saves me more in the long run but normally get what I ask for do get the silly people who offer stupidly low but I ignore them and wait for the Tv's to sell

Yes just saw your stock list thats a good price with warranty etc i certainly wouldnt get that in my area but each area varies i guess, coventrys got loads of students for the universitys etc so 32in and above led sets you can get about £90.00 for if your lucky with asda/tesco/argos etc doing new sets so cheap its hard to make any profit.Cheers have you checked the stock list Diif on my site. Atm im being careful on what I buy, I no longer buy smashed Tv's at all unless I need the parts. I no longer buy SD or Tv's with grey surrounds. Ive never had to pay for smashed screen sets always got them free luckily ive got two grey surrounds 720p sd sets hard to sell them in my area im being asked too do more repairs at the minute like nintendo/psp screens etc or fit laptop parts screens/keyboards or fit peoples own brought power supply capacitor kits etc all experience and a bit of cash keeps me busy.Comment

This is my first attempt at troubleshooting a board like this, I know I could just buy a new board but I'm curious to figure out how this works. I've been testing different components in the evenings this week and I think the problem is with the IC failing to start up for some reason. When the board is plugged in there is no standby voltage.
Then today it randomly sprung to life like a zombie but shortly died thereafter. I have no idea why it would have done that and its the first time I've seen it running. I discharged capacitors on the board last night, then it was sitting today.... -
I have this LG 42LG3000 Tv which operates on all inputs without any issues whatsoever. However when you try to turn the Tv off the screen goes blank as it would normally however it then turns itself back on again!
So far I have replaced the main board without any resolution to the problem.
When the inverters master and slave VIT71053.54 VIT71053.55 are disconnected from the power supply then the TV will turn off as it should (obviously without any ccfl output).
I have read through a few posts for this model without anyone having this issue as far as I can tell.

To start with I think I have red every single topic on this forum about the No picture fault on this TV. Seems like a common fault but I just can´t find a match i other forum threads for my TVs fault.
Symptoms:
No picture, not even a little primer.
Unable to check if I have sound since I don´t have any picture to navigate the menu to be sure I´m on the correct input.
When connecting power cable it clicks just like it used to and the red standby light on the front comes on.

Hello forum. I've recently been given a Yamaha TSX 120 DAB radio and ipod dock. Its working well however when put on standby its using 6.3 watts. The manual states less than 1 watt on standby. I measured this with a plug in monitor which seems accurate with other items. In use it uses around 7.5 watts. Firstly has anyone who owns a similar radio also got a plug in monitor to check if this is normal with this unit? In the first half a second the monitor shows 0.3 watts which I suspect is what it should use but something is switching it to be almost fully powered. Hi. I got a Vizio with no power or standby, and won't turn on with remote or button. I checked the voltages on the connector and all read 0.00V or nearly 0(0.050 ON/OFF pin). None of the pins are labeled STB for standby although I do see some 5V pins. Other than the obvious standby led, which isn't coming on, is there a way to check for standby voltage on this PS. I'm trying to see if my problem is the PS or mainboard. Some Vizios I have fixed with no standby led me to think it was the PS but it turned out being the mainboard. Any experience with this set would be greatly appreciated.
