Sceptre X332BV-HD, no backlight, I think it's an older model?

I have searched google, your forum, and three other sites for my exact TV. I have been unable to find it. I have seen other Sceptres with nearly the same model but different internals.

My problem is that there is no back light. I can see the screen works when I shine a flashlight at it or through the back. Upon taking apart the TV it appears I only have a main board that I could maybe replace. There does not appear to be a specific back light/power board like others TVs appear to have.

I will provide pictures of the components of my TV. I do not have the tools to check voltages like I have seen other posts referring to. Also I do not have the knowledge to do it if I even had the tools at this point.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a failed Led in my experience. You have a DMM ?

I believe DMM is digital multi-meter? If so no I do not, but I could get one.

OK, I'll get one picked up in a week or so. Any suggestions on brand or any specific ones? Also where/what will I be testing on the TV with it? If you don't mind giving me a hint of sorts into what I should do once I get a DMM.

This is only a basic video but it shows you some of the things you might have to test on your tv.
