I've been working through an issue with my 42"LG. The initial symptom was that I had lost the picture but still had sound. I jumped on this forum and with some searching it looked like a Y or ZSUS board issue. I found an open fuse on the YSUS board but all looked good on the ZSUS. My other observation was that I got a sag in Vs (168Vdc) just before shutdown. I checked the power supply outputs and all were spot on otherwise. I sent the suspect board to Coppell for repair, but after re installation the same symptom remained. At this point I ordered a ZSUS board from Coppell and a buffer board. So long story short after installing these components still have the same issue. So now I'm looking at the control board and have made a few observations. First, if I disconnect the input to the control board the set will remain on with a white screen and a normal Vs of 186Vdc (per sticker on chassis). Also I noticed that there are four LEDS marked D12 through 15. All are solid green except D15 which is not lit. Is this normal or am I looking at a bad board. Any input from you guys would be appreciated. Warren

by Asraf AtbHi everyone,
Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.
Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.
I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....1 Photo -
Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by eclectricHi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue before I give up on this TV.
In short, I replaced the T-CON board due to an error code indicating that was the problem, after which it flashed a green and orange LED meaning software update required. I cannot get the tv to do the required update via USB, so I am stuck.
Here is a rundown of the symptoms and the steps I have taken to troubleshoot:
I inherited the TV with the symptom that it would turn on, then turn off after 5-10 seconds and a red LED flashed 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it would be 4, sometimes... - Loading...
