Toshiba 50L4353D 50 inch LED... panel or t-con fault?

Hi folks, hope someone can help.. I have this Toshiba 50 inch led tv with a fault, please follow link to video showing said fault. Note that the TV is sitting upside-down while recording.. The fault consists of some horizontal lines and a fuzzy image alternating to near perfect picture.
Any ideas would be greatly welcomed..

I would say panel not fixable sorry, not a real Toshiba either rebadged Vestel (junk) Tv. What panel is used in it ?

I take my comment back as well, this is actually a real Toshiba ! Quite rare nower days, anyhow I would say panel is toast sorry

Was thinking that was a possibility, though I was living in hope and I bought a cheap replacement t-con on eBay to try out in it.. Might as well give it a go

this is a picture of it its like ok for 5 secs and then goes blury and then normal again and its like that all the time switching back and forth and there is a line going left to right where the bluring occurs

It looks like the description of a panel fault as Double Image Distortion Page 39.

but it pulses normal/double/normal/double same time like 5 secs normal 5 bad and so on

Hmm I said panel to the first guy as his vid had a solid line on there. But your might not be tbh bud could be solder joints failing etc. Maybe buy it and have a play ? Also I feel bad now as I sold two of these now just waiting for them to go lol

Hmm I said panel to the first guy as his vid had a solid line on there. But your might not be tbh bud could be solder joints failing etc. Maybe buy it and have a play ? Also I feel bad now as I sold two of these now just waiting for them to go lol

there is a solid line too going across where the fault starts

Yeah thats panel then tbh, gate in glass driver is breaking down and causing the rest of the address lines to mess up. I say aviod it at all costs. Maybe chuck her £20 for the parts but I would say its scrap.

i turned it down they said their cousin was gonna give them a good price on it i smelt a rat straight away

its pretty common looking around the web

I hope haha, as the people I sold them two always tag me in Tv posts and recommend me. They have been good for over a few months now so hopefully will last just under two years if Im lucky as thats when both originally died before 2 years old.
