Right, just connected this TV up to another set via the av out and low and behold there is a picture..
So t-con or panel?
Any way of testing the t-con further? It's getting 12v and the smd fuse is fine. I have another t-con ordered, but I wouldn't mind trying to repair this one if possible

Is there an av out on the set Andy? If there is you could probably connect it to a monitor or another tv to see if the problem persists.. If it does it could point to main board fault, if not maybe t-con..Leave a comment:

DCV between chassis GND and both sides of t-con fuse is 12v.. Any ideas?Leave a comment:

As above guys, any common causes? Set turns on and backlight can be seen though screen stays black/blank.. T-con/main fault?
Haven't actually got my hands on this one yet, hopefully collecting it tomorrow..

Hi Amdry,
Have you checked fuse on t-con? Usually found beside/near input connector. It will be marked F on board.. If it has blown it could point to t-con, though the panel could be at faultLeave a comment:

Hi folks, hope someone can help.. I have this Toshiba 50 inch led tv with a fault, please follow link to video showing said fault. Note that the TV is sitting upside-down while recording.. The fault consists of some horizontal lines and a fuzzy image alternating to near perfect picture.
Any ideas would be greatly welcomed..
