RCA LED50B45RQ - No Power or Standby light

Hey Guys, I am on here a lot and wanted to let you guys know what fixed my LED50B45RQ. Got it in with no standby light at all - had power on the power board. I ordered a main board from ebay and it turned the tv on but I got the wrong one. Anyways - there is a capacitor on the main board that is right next to a red plug coming from the 24v I believe - and I replaced that and BAM - Fixed! (1 of the 2 capacitors total on the board)

ive got same tv but i have no standby light..no pwr on...i checked the dc voltages on the ps and all are 0v

even if the main board is bad the power supply at a minimum should have 5v standby correct?...im thinking ps is bad.

If the power supply is connected to a motherboard that has a short circuit on the 5v bus, then the power supply will go into protection and there will be nothing at the output, you need to disconnect the power supply from the motherboard and check whether the voltage is 5v.
